Good size bento boxes, the tempura bento was generous although very heavily battered. Large portion of rice and good miso soup but sushi was a bit too cold. Katsu Don came with salad and rice Decent prices in a tucked away corner of the shopping mall, not a bad option.
Visited today. 1 customer in store. Male and female behind the counter totally ignored me. Walked up to the counter stood right in front of the man who was at the register fiddling around. Didn’t look up didn’t acknowledge me. Waited 2 mins and left. How ignorant and rude, no wonder you don’t have any customers at 1pm
Unfortunately very average. Decent serves for the price but ordinary in taste. Chicken Karaage was just chunks of deep fried batter with comparably small bits of chicken inside.
We ordered tempura prawns, it was extremely greasy, their was more batter then prawns, curry samosas and spring rolls were mash, blend and very greasy and the teriyaki beef was dry. This was the worst Japanese take away we ever had. We won’t order again.
Surly, short tempered staff not interested in customers. Sticky table tops. Did not feel clean. Very average food not stored at a cool enough temperature. HACCP?
The food was tasty & fresh. Generous portions & very good prices. Great for a mid week lunch with the kids.
Well ordered something from the large picture menu they have on the wall. From a person who clearly doesn't want to be working there and should not be talking to customers. A few minutes later I got Some overcookedd diced chicken with onion and undercooked slimy egg dumped on the table by the grumpy waitress. It looked nothing like the image of a dilicious frittata with a sunny side up in the middle and a crispy underside. I asked jently if they might have made a mistake, they insisted that this was the same as in the image and proceeded to joke between them about it in Chinese. If you want good Japanese food don't worry about this place...
What sort of takeaway shop doesnt have bags for customers to take away food? The plastic bag ban has come in and it seems the owners figured they could save a couple of dollars each month by having no bags at all. Had to juggle $55 worth of sushi 7 trays out to the car and then lay them out flat on the floor so they didnt topple while driving. Paper bags are a suitable substitue for plastic, Zushi Bento, and would have paid 15c for one if you bothered to have them although I would expect one for free give if McDonalds can do it for $4 burger
Ordered the Salmon Sashimi for $14. 10 thin pieces of salmon. If you want a awesome Salmon Sashimi salad go to Silver Sushi. For $12.50 at Silver Sushi you get a lot more salmon and chunks of it too, a much bigger salad plus you get half an avocado with it. Very disappointed with the quantity of the dish served today. Even ordering 2 salads cannot equal 1 Salmon Avo Salad from Sliver Sushi.
My favourite sushi place They also have really good chicken udon noodle soup.
