Love it!!! Delicious desserts with history... I've been a LuxBite customer for so long but never post anything before, but last time catering experience was wonderful. Great work and thank you to all staff! I appreciate that you consistently look after my order and inform me over the phone regarding the status. Ordered online which was stress-free and easy. Picked up my order and was amazed by the wonderful range of goodies available in-store, will definitely be back!! The cake itself was fantastic, perfectly balanced and looked wonderful.
The desserts are good, not too sweet. A bit expensive but worth trying. The croissants are nice and crispy and there are interesting flavours. The tiger tart had unique flavours and good textures. The Portuguese tart was quite expensive for its size and not fresh when we got it in the afternoon. There were lots of macaroon flavour options and I liked that they weren’t too sweet. Packaging is nice and good for gifting.
The Kuma, Serenity and Epic Chocolate Cravings cakes are all excellent, and we're keen to try more varieties in the future. I'd love if there were an alcohol-free version of the Uji Matcha Cheesecake.
One of my favourite cake shops in Melbourne! The cakes, desserts and pastries are Luxbite never disappoint - they’re not too heavy, not too sweet, and have the perfect flavour combinations. I recently tried their I Heart You cake which was delightful! It was super light, almost like a light ice cream cake, with a nice tartness from the jam in the centre. Another one of my favourites is their Endless Love cake, which is inspired by the famous Ispahan. It’s basically a giant lychee and rose macaron - super light and delicate. If you’re looking for a place to get a cake then LuxBite is definitely a must try!
Popped in to grab some of their Macau Portuguese tarts and snapped up a pandan cream croissant as well. The egg tart looks dry and stale but it’s INCREDIBLE. The pastry is flaky, the custard isn’t too eggy nor sweet. I highly recommend getting the box of 6 for $20 because two wasn’t enough! The pandan croissant was light and crisp, and the cream wasn’t too sweet or runny so it stayed in the croissant. Pandan always has a strong flavour and it was well balanced in this croissant. Will definitely be back to try more cakes.
Nice lovely cakes. Limited selections but focused on producing quality over quantity. Very friendly service. Great place for an afternoon coffee and delicious cakes
Came over after lunch nearby for dessert and it wasn’t too bad. We had the last two Portuguese tarts each of the classic and durian. They were legit good but it’s almost expected at the price range and dessert speciality place. The durian croissant was bad. The combo just doesn’t work, way tooooo much cream and lack of durian flavour. The macaroons are another no no… salted caramel was way too sweet, colour of pistachio macaroon is a put off, and pandan coconut one is errr… lost!
