In my experiences, this is the best EB Games branch. Never let me down once. When I was preordered PS5, it arrived on time and easy to pick up as well. This time I preordered PS5 Dualsense Edge and I got the notification by sms 1 day beforehand that it is ready to be picked up 26 January. Really good customer service. Would highly recommend friends and whoever what to get something from EB Games to try this branch out. I see you guys next time.
This is a huge store with loads of cool items to tempt you! It's always a pleasure visiting, whether I'm buying a gift or something for myself. The staff are super friendly and always up for a chat, it makes it feel like you're visiting like-minded friends instead of just another shop. The store is clean and well stocked, with plenty of new items to keep you coming back. Keep up the great work!
"The children are our future". These are the hollow words that keep ringing inside my skull, months after that fateful day at Electronics Boutique Games. As a man of great character, I had taken my elderly handicapable grandmother to the local Woolworths to pick up some essential Ooshies. After purchasing enough all-purpose lotion to ensure my grandmother had enough Ooshie points, I decided to take a much needed break and visit EB games after placing my mother in a safe, secure location. I strode in like a Roman gladiator, finally on the battlefield with my brothers and free from the tyranny of "polite" society and my medical debts. Two young teenage warriors were battling it out in the nearest virtual arena, locked in the eternal combat I knew so well. After some time, I decided to exercise my authority and took the gamepad from the nearest ones palms while softly chuckling, ready to show this new blood what a seasoned Gamer could do. To my shock and surprise, they took offense to this! It was then I began to notice strange things about them. Unlike my powerful greasy mane of hair, they had strange and very clean hair that smelt of what I have heard referred to as "product" instead of a natural, beautiful male musk. The clothes they wore were not nearly baggy enough or tight enough, trapped in a strange state betwixt the two with absolutely NO tinned spaghetti stains. I began to ask them if they were lost and what they were doing in my domain when I was rudely interrupted by the cosplayer I had noticed on the way in. As he continued screeching at me, I began to notice things about him. I could not figure out what anime or videogame lady he was supposed to be. Lara Croft? Joanna Dark? As my mind raced to find an answer, I began to feel a sense of dread build in my stomach. This was no harmless cosplayer, this was an actual WOMAN!! I screamed and threw all of the loose change I had found that day at her, running out of the store with my heart hammering in my chest and my vision swimming. Hours later, I awoke to a dark sky with no clue where I was, some sort of grassy field near the shopping centre. I made my way back to my grandmother's car...my grandmother!!! I ran to my car but I was too late, she had passed away peacefully in a pool of her own sweat, Ooshies gripped like religious talismans in her arthritic hands. I swore on that day I would not rest until I had brought those responsible to justice and freed my grandmother's soul from the Toyota Camry hell that they had sent her to. Two stars due to my experience, but maximum stars for my new lifequest.
My go-to store in Brisbane for videogames. Staff are always very helpful and talkative. Have pre-ordered numerous games through this particular store and never had a single issue. They also host midnight launches occasionally and having been to two they've both been very smooth and a lot of fun. Easily one of the best EB stores!
Do not enter. I repeat DO NOT ENTER. You'll never come out with your wallet intact.
Massive store with a huge variety to choose from and has lots of pop vinyls. Very accessible via bus and train to get here. Staff are friendly and helpful
Shout out to Alan who went above and beyond to help me out today. The store was immaculately presented and I was able to find everything I needed thanks to Alan for his incredible customer service. Thank you so much; it's rare to find someone so genuinely helpful. I greatly appreciate it.
Friendly staff and always helpful with a great range
Better value for trade-ins than dealing with people on Marketplace
The staff are friendly and helpful. Store has a lot of stock offerings, courtesy of the EB Games and Zing mix, thus making it a one-stop-shop. Store is spacious, clean, well-lit and merchandising techniques make it easy to find desired products. Very impressed :
