I went to Zigbis for short hair cut, eyebrow threading and henna and waxing. All of the staff I had anything to do with were pleasant and provided excellent service. I was very happy with all of the treatments and have already booked my next appointment.Services:&nbsp;Hairstyling

Unfortunately, I've never had a positive experience at a hairdressers salon, and this was another of those experiences. I booked an appointment via Zigbis official website and selected the hairdresser that a friend recommended to me - but upon arrival, I was attended to by another hairdresser. I was disappointed that there was no explanation for this, and the booking process for selecting a particular hairdresser was completely redundant.  I requested a buttery blonde balayage, and had several reference photos with me, which I showed at the start. By the end of the 2.5 hours, my hair was still darker than anticipated not quite the buttery blonde I was hoping for. I was a little embarrassed because everyone in the salon seemed to love it, so I thought perhaps I just needed time to adjust to it, and it would seem better in the morning That, and the salon was closing and I was already an hour late for my next event. So I prepared to leave, and paid a huge $335, which included shampoo & conditioner, which I was told would only cost $60, on top of the balayage which the website quoted $160 for long hair - $115 dearer than expected. There was no explanation for the price jump and I only received an eftpos receipt, which of course didn't break down the costs.  The next morning, my hair was a strong copper colour all over photo attached for reference - no obvious streaks left, and no blonde. The colour was also not gradual as I had asked, but rather 2 distinctive blocks of colour; dark brown at the roots, with a sharp change to copper from brow height, down to the ends. I was incredibly upset, but as I didn't want to pay even more money to get it fixed elsewhere, or face yet another disappointment, I went to the shops and bought a home dye kit and some colour correcting shampoo and conditioner to fix it myself Noting the shampoo and conditioner I bought from the salon did not work on brassy tones, only "protection from colour fade". My hair seemed to be quite damaged from the salon, so I will try to fix it gradually without causing too much more damage.  I've given this a 2 star rating, as all the staff were really lovely and friendly - I had absolutely no problem with the service from that perspective. But I would not go back based on the high pricing and incredibly disappointing end-result of my hair.Service:&nbsp;Balayage

The ladies & gentleman that we dealt with were amazing! The make up artist was phenomenal & so was our hairdresser who did our upstyles. I booked a men’s hair cut & wash. Which said it would take 20mins & cost $28. My booking was meant to be with Alyssa. I ended up getting my hair cut by a gentleman. I explained what I wanted & ended up with a hack job. The cut was so uneven & not what I wanted or explained to the hairdresser. I was in the chair for approximately total 10 mins, no wash, no styling no product offered to be put in my hair. I was charged $28 the price for the cut & wash. I then had to come home & shave my head as another hairdresser I went to said it would be the best & cheapest thing to do. I will definitely NOT be going back or recommending this hairdresser to anyone.
