The food was superb. I decided to try the Beef Cheeks in filo pastry. The waiter told me they had been slow cooked in the oven for five hours and this dish was truly delicious, served with sweet potato crush and a shot glass of dark chocolate sauce. Who would have thought chocolate and meat would have gone so well together? My partner had the pork belly with kim chi which he said was flavoured with fennel,pepper and garlic and tasted awesome. The service was impeccable and what's more as I got there at 6pm the cocktails were only $10. Suggest you try the Mojitos! I had the donuts for dessert, filled with cointreau flavoured custard. Congrats to the chef Lawrence and his team. Fist class dining!
Highly recommended, will definitely go again. Lamb cutlets would be my top choice. If you get the chance eat out al fresco and watch the world go by. Cocktails were very reasonably priced because of Happy Hour between 530pm and 630pm.
Birthday dinner with a few family last Saturday. Great menu. Awesome service. Alfresco dining and still toasty warm. Atmosphere was just right. Will definitely be coming back.

We had dinner there Saturday night, didn't book, in fact didn't even know Zephyrs was there until we drove past. Well It was certainly worth stopping, the service was impeccable - could not fault, the food was outstanding, we usually don't have 3 courses but we did here...do yourself a favour and go to Zephyr's. I would certainly recommend it and will definitely go back again.
First timers on Tuesday 5 July 2016, so glad I made the booking. The venue is pleasant, wonderful floral mural, a great alfresco area though even with the curtains down and the heaters on, at 8deg C, everyone was happy to cosy down inside. The service was impeccable, the wine list extensive, and the menu including the daily specials, had something for everyone. For starters my wife ordered the calamari, it was tender and flavousome. I ordered the carpaccio, both choices were magnificent, to get 0carpaccio that good in a suburban restaurant was a verypplep asant surprise, well done.For our mains, I couldn't go past the pork belly, it was to die for and my wife was over the moon with her choice of "catch of the day", a well cooked and presented snapper fillet. To round out the evening we shared the cheese platter, very good choices of cheeses and accompaniments, my only criticism of the entire evening was that the cheese was straight from the fridge, it would have benefited from being presented at room temperature, but if that's all they got wrong I I really shouldn't complying too much. A wonderful night, a beautiful meal, great service, will definitely return.
A pleasant visit but disappointed in their byo policy. On booking 10 days prior on a visit I was told could bring bottles of wine but pay $10 corkage which was accepted. On the night Friday no byo wine allowed? Our byo cost was $70 but beverage cost was $180. Unhappy with this and probably won't return
This was the first time at Zephyr for my husbands birthday dinner. What a fabulous night. A wonderful & sincere welcome from owner chef Lawrence to start the night off with, was something we have been missing from other restaurants for years. We started with cocktails which were discounted during happy hour, freshly made & presented beautifully. Then on to starters. Martin had seafood chowder & I had spanish meatballs in Morrocon salsa, both fab. Then on to mains, Martin chose the Beef fillet & I had the paella. Both dishes looked gorgeous & the flavours were unreal. Washed down with a lovely bottle of Vino what more could you want. We were too full to have dessert but will be back again soon to try them next time. Thankyou to all the staff for making our night so enjoyable, keep up the good work.
Had a fantastic experience here. Told the waiter I was vegan and he was more than happy to change some menu items around for me so that I could eat them. Absolutely awesome food too
