A great place for a stroll through a reserve. Very relaxing to hear the birds singing all around you. Very fun for kids to spot all the different types of birds. The display area is also very informative. A great way to spend the day.
Definitely worth going! Great price, helpful staff and well mapped out clearly showing the 3 different walks you can take. The 1st walk is suitable is for any age and fitness ability and we saw loads of birds.
Nice and friendly helpfully staff with awesome tracks to walk on. Saw a few different species of birds including some quails with their tiny young. Very cute. Great place and a great van service to get there and back if you take the cable car up from Lambton Quay.

Stunning! More bird life than I've ever seen anywhere else in NZ. The sky is alive with birds flying around, and you can hear a mix of excellent native bird song all through the forest. There is a whole range of walks from tiny paved paths to long all-day tramps into the hills. An absolute gem for the whole of NZ
Awesome to see all these NZ birds up close. It's a sad story that we have to have this man built enclosure for them but Zealandia do their best to help these beautiful creatures.

Fantastic place for a bird filled walk through native bush. We liked it so much we became members on our first visit. Looking forward to going back for walks during the year. Amazing Tuatara viewing.
