This has to be one truly amazing place to eat! The meal portions blew my mind away and then, when asked if I wanted a beer, I replied that I don't drink alcohol. So they responded with, the rep brought in a four pack of alcohol free beer, would you like to try it and let us know? That was fantastic! I had a great night and still had the beautiful taste of 'implied' beer for those beer lovers. It was a fantastic night out and food coma to boot!
Had the Pork Roast for 2. Meal was good but the pork knuckle was a little on the dry side. Enjoyed the beer there. Had the Pirate Life double IPA and it was yummy. Prices here are at the top of the scale also. Would I go back? Probably would with a group of people.
Our new favourie restaraunt absolutely sensational. The taste plate and mains of pork belly were truly sensational, no room for sweets, definitely going to go back. The staff were friendly and very attentive, that yellow cheese is the best we have ever had. Thanks for a great night
Upon entry to Zapfhall, my expectations were clouded by the introduction of a 'German beer Hall' amongst a predominantly Italian influenced dining scene. However, once inside and greeted by a very friendly and competent young lady with a sound knowledge of the menu and craft beers it quickly became clear that this venue would and has become a quality solid feature if Fremantles famous strip. Quick, quality meals and segregation from the hustle and bustle of the strip will without a doubt see me and my friends/colleagues revisiting this little gem sooner rather then later.
The food was an emotional experience bordering on religion. Literally bought tears to the eyes. Met by casual, friendly, open and super helpful staff... Moreso than your average bear. You get what you pay for, and it isn't some cheap eatery.
The food is a poor try of German food. Pork knuckles made crispy in a deep fryer are a disgrace to any German chef, but what do you expect if a place like that is run by people who have never been to Germany and have any idea of German food.
The food was actually really unique and interesting, but despite going with a huge Scoopon voucher valued at almost $20 pp we still ended up spending $45 pp on top of that for only a mediocre feed. Premium prices for pub food?...
Went for drinks with some friends. Service was fantastic from Lara. Decided to try the menu, Lars provided an excellent experience, Would recommend based off the staff we had serving us
Food was nice. Service was rubbish. They forgot someones meal after we had ordered our meals twice. Beer was fine though.
Great food and great service. The DJ was aweful but the beer made it bearable. Highly recommended you check it out.
