Can’t use Z energy EV app unless you have a New Zealand mobile. Don’t come here if you are a foreigner with EV rental car
We were regulars to this service station and live locally so we my wife especially know the team there. We’d had a couple of stuff ups with the pay by plate function of the Z App which meant we accidentally didn’t pay a couple of times, although we fuel up both cars at least once a week if not more due to the amount of driving we do.nThe first time this happened we got a letter alerting us to the fact we had missed a payment which also provided the payment details, acc etc so we paid straight away. This unfortunately happened again recently but instead the manager at Z decided to send around the police to our house rather than a letter.nWe are local and have spent tens of thousands of dollars at this Z including a number of tanks after the second stuff up, but they chose to send the Police around to our house. When I confronted the manager about why they would do this she lied to my face and said it wasn’t because of them.nWe will never in our lives spend another cent at this Z. If this is how they treat their regulars, good luck if you are from out of town and just filling up.
Topped up and coffee etc today and was served by a super 5 star staff member with the name Gareth??? He was an amicable young man who was attentive, and assisted a technoob [me] with using the Z app properly. Made great coffee too. :-
Customer service and coffee was amazing.nShenaye always greets with smile and makes best coffees.
