Great service and atmosphere but food is very average. It used to be much better before covid. Now, many options are gone and I felt like the quality of the ingredients wasn't as high - sashimi had chewy bits in it, fisherman soup is full of msg, you can tell there was no love in that broth.. Can't fault the icecream though :
Generous portions of food. Amazing and delicious authentic Japanese food. Service was quick and staff were obliging. Have to go back to try their other dishes
Extremely disappointed in the North Strathfield restaurant. Dumplings were cold and uncooked, Wagyu was over done and like rubber, kingfish carpaccio was sliced like sushimi and not able to cure in the sauce. Will not return!
We had a recent "date night" here, and the food was absolutely delicious! Fresh, tasty and generous - it was a real treat. The staff were lovely too. Highly recommended.
The food was fresh. Over priced for what the food was. The menu can better with adding description on some of the items such as tako wasabi. Even the waitress didn't know what it was. I ordered it anyway and when it arrived as raw octopus I didn't eat it because I'm vegetarian.
food was very ordinary, nothing tasted authentic and most of the food was bland and tasteless. dont waste your time.. much better Japanese options around.
