Came here a few times always with family or a group of friends. Food can be excellent if tastes less salty. We even saw additional salt's been shaked on before serving on top of already salted roasted pork belly. We ended up leaving with doggy bags. Pity and doesn't make sens. A common problem I have with some Asian Restaurants here too but wouldn't mind much since its not in our everyday menu.
Yumcha on a Friday night is real treat for me. This restaurant is clean with linen and not too loud. My friend and I had a good conversation while having dinner. What a treat that was! Their pork and prawns dumplings are so delicious and fresh, I love the chicken feet, very tasty and soft. The fresh Chinese greens are so fresh and cooked beautifully. The fried rice is a little dry and the pork ribs are amazing. This is inside the Carindale food court. There’s a lot of parking.
1st time visit and was a lovely experience Delicious! Freshly cooked. Service friendly and wait time was minimal. It was a novelty that the robot bought our food out. Previously I've always gone into Chinatown in the Valley for Yum Cha but this restaurant is on par with Chinatown. Will be back! Thank you!Recommended dishesPrawn Spring Rolls, Spring Rolls, Prawn Dumplings, BBQ Pork Buns, Buns
Went early on a Monday for yum cha, selection was a bit limited, but the food was all very tasty and good sizing. There little robot delivering the food is a nice gimmick, but would soon wear thin. Service was good from the people too Food: 5/5
We have came here over the years. Unfortunately the quality is slowly going down hill. Hit and miss with the service, depending on your luck. Food is still good, but nothing compares to years ago. The place considerably clean compare to must yumcha places. We will still dine in, since there is not many good yumcha around Brisbane. Hope they bring the quality back to its hey day.
The service was great but the food was average as. Deep fried squid was barely salted, soy chicken was dry, dumplings were okayyy, the baos are good but small. Overall pretty meh. Again, great service though.Food: 3/5
Love it here! Such good service and a large menu. The mushroom and chicken wrap in lettuce is the nicest I’ve had in ages.
Been here 4 or 5 times. Prawns are great. Soft shelled crab awesome. Steamed veges great. Service is always friendly. A nice young crew. On busy nights and days you may have to wait. Quieter times are nice. If you are in a rush in a busy day you may be disappointed. Full menu after lunch I think starts at 16:30 when the kitchen fires up again. After lunch until then there is a decent but curtailed menu. 4.2 stars if you are relaxed and flexible.
Shredded beef was excellent. All dishes were tasty with no aftereffects such as msg, so I'd eat here again. Only downside was that prices were $25 / $26 for the mains we chose hence the 4 stars.
Bugs or not you decide. Food is otherwise slightly above average, 6/10 Services wise, average. Waited for awhile for a tea pot refill despite restaurant being 2/3 empty. Waitress were coughing every now and then...would probably have been better not having someone working given the current virus scare. Price isn’t exactly budget friendly either.
