This is a really good suburban Chinese/Malaysian restaurant. Someone said it's Vietnamese, but I can assure you it's not. It has a decent menu for people who want Anglo-Chinese food, but if you want more authentic food, you can get really delicious food here. I recommend the 'casserole hot pots' shaguo and anything Malaysian. The decor isn't amazing, but who cares? It's really reasonably priced and delicious. The servers are all absolutely lovely.
We ordered take away and the food was fast and beautiful. Had tofu and seafood, chicken green curry, dim sims and special fried rice. All dishes were extra large and very tasty. More left over for tomorrow. Couldn't fault it.
I went there for lunch today. The restaurant was empty, other than myself. I asked if the entree spring rolls were fresh or the frozen type. They are the frozen type. I decided to order a mixed entree instead. I also ordered a satay chicken with rice and a fried rice to takeaway. The satay chicken came out first steaming hot. I asked for my entree first, so they took my satay away and gave me my entree. The entree was hot. After I ate that they brought me back the satay chicken. It was now cold. I told them I wanted my satay chicken to be hot and not cold. They took it away. 30 seconds later it came back. It had been microwaved. I asked them to pack my satay chicken up as a takeaway. I paid for my meal and explained to the poor waitress that I didn't come to their restaurant to have a reheated microwave meal. I probably expect too much but what I want is for an entree to be served first then my main course to be freshly cooked and hot - definitely not microwaved. I find this sad, because I want to find a good local Chinese restaurant. It seems I will have to continue to go to Sunnybank for that.
Horrible. Wasted money. Couldn't decide who was our waiter. Had to get up twice to get my own drink orders. Waited half hour for entree. Asked for mains asap. Waited for ages. Asked to have them take away only to have them bought over by the other waiter on a plate. There was one other table in the restaurant. If I could give 0 stars I would. I had my 6 year old who was supposed to be in bed not waiting for food for an hour! Asked for a refund and was refused, so I call to ask for the manager/owner and was told that she doesn't speak English. I then said "you mean she pretends she can't speak English" and he replies "yeah sorry about that". What a joke. Calling the accc.
Really enjoy this restaurant, it's nothing especially fancy or luxurious. However if you want a fair priced and fantastic meal you have found the right place. Personally I love the satay and Mongolian beef. Definently worth a try!!
I loved the food. Its yummy and top class food . reasonable rates.worth for money.very clean n friendly staff. We had a really nice time. I recon all to visit this restaurant.
Staff opened the door on arrival which was lovely and a surprise. Food was delivered quickly, was fresh and tasty. Only negative - honey chicken was tiny morsels of chicken in a very think batter.
Very disappointing. Duck in plum sauce was listed as a half duck but was just greasy chunks in soggy batter covered in pineapple. Beef in oyster sauce was tasteless.
Friendly service. Spacious. Great range of delicious food. Specially love the chicken satay skewers - best sauce ever
Delicious food at affordable prices. We had a late dinner around 9pm and the service was quick and pleasant.
