Dante day at York 2022. Bit breezy and overcast but looking forward to a profitable days racing. Plenty of bars and restaurants if you want to make a full day of it or just grab an ice cream instead. Parade ring and stands adjacent to each other and betting ring just a short walk away. Nice way to spend a sunny, dry day in May
Great day for a York lady who has never been before and has waited until my pension years to go. I don't I haven't lived her for over 40 yes! But it was certainly worth it loved every minute
A great day out, beautifully maintained grounds. Well organised for access in and for taxis at the end. Plenty of friendly staff. Love how much of an occasion it is!
Really pleasant experience,so well laid out and user friendly,plenty of places to eat and drink,also a massive parking area,I've been many times before and I'm never disappointed.
Went on the 'Cheapside' for a change, fantastic! Disabled parking right next to entrance perfect! All on the flat to get round to the winning post, brilliant atmosphere and easy access for the bookies and the bars couldn't fault it! Crackin'day and couple of squids in pocket, we'll be back!
Really enjoyed the family themed end of summer school holiday race day. The children had hours if endless fun. There was a sheep show. Bouncy castles, various types, suitable for a wide range of ages. All undercover too. Hockey A fire engine Face painting And the star of the day - Peter Rabbit There were plenty of options of food and drink. Lots of seating/benches/tables and chairs plus the stands. The children also loved watching the horses racing. Of course being a warm sunny day helped and parking was on site, at no extra cost Excellent day out for the family
Hugh place and look fantastic, I went there but not horse racing on that day just food festival. Love it!
It was the York annual model railway show 7th to the 10th of April 2023. It had 33 layouts of all gauges. It had various societies and over 40 trade stands to choose from.
Really lovely race course, good views, lots of options for drinks, although queues form when busy. Great day out
Attended the “Festival of Vintage” fair here & was a great day out with lots of quality vintage items to see & buy
