I was the coach driver with a golf club from Huddersfield. They booked a day playing golf at this lovely club. The staff were really friendly and helpful. And the food was beautiful. We had b/fast dinner and evening meal. From Arriving to leaving was a great experience. Highly recommend a visit if you you love golf. My party had a brilliant day and evening.

New clubs day ‍   My thanks to the York Golf Club Professional Mark Rogers for a great fitting session. It was definitely the right decision to fly back from Spain to my old golf club for a custom fit, I now know and trust that I've got the right clubs to move me on in my game. Zero communication regarding the necessity to use mats in the fairways. Many of the greens were not in use and instead the fringe grass in front of the green was being used as a makeshift green. The entire course was incredibly wet and just overall not in good condition.  I understand this is what winter golf in England might be like but for the experience we had today this course was far and away the worst course I’ve ever played at. Supposedly it’s meant to be better in the summer so maybe I’ll give it a second chance if I’m ever back near York in those months.

Excellent practice facilities range and short area assist in your warm up. Shop is well stocked. Staff were friendly and attentive. Course was in very good condition with fast true greens. Clubhouse bar was very comfortable lovely sofas. We had lasagna chips and coleslaw after the pro am which was very nice.

Good challenging course. Will be going again. Super restaurant service & food.

Had mothers day lunch, one of the best I have had, great service and staff will be back soon.

Due to frost , the course was not its best,  but that was due to the weather,  normally a,quality course , excellent food in the restaurant

Attended a wedding reception. The room was very nicely decorated, tables neatly arranged. The staff were attentive & professional. Views from the balcony were stunning especially as we were blessed with a lovely sunny day. The food was fantastic and hot! Couldn't fault it. Car park very busy with hapzard parking. Must be a very busy golf course!

Excellent course,  greens superb already paid for next year's open. For me, better than Fulford and a much more welcoming place for half the price. Keep it up.

As always a fantastic club, and a bonus today of 25 centigrade and six pars during my round.
