We booked a breakfast here to celebrate my husband's birthday and overall it was a lovely experience. Despite the café being quite busy, we were warmly greeted at the door with a genuine smile, which immediately made us feel welcome. We were also seated right away at a great table, exactly as we had requested a really nice touch that didn’t go unnoticed.nnThe coffee was absolutely outstanding! A solid 10/10 and the food was just as impressive. Everything arrived promptly, and we didn’t have to wait long at all which made the experience even more enjoyable.nnThe only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is due to the ordering system. There’s no table service. Instead, you place your order either at the counter or via a QR code. For the premium prices, I would have expected full table service it would have elevated the whole experience.nnStill, we truly appreciated the attention to our seating request and the overall quality of the food and coffee. Thank you for making our morning special!
What a lovely place! Food, vibes and service was fantastic. Started off with the Matcha latte and peach iced tea and they were both lovely but just wished the matcha came in a presentable glass instead of the bio cup for dine in. On to the food - I had the Chilli scramble egg and it was the most well seasoned eggs I've had at a cafe, the chilli was subtle but also had a slight kick which was delicious! My sister had the Yolk OG chicken salad and it was fresh and creamy, would have liked more sauce for the brown rice part of the dish but otherwise it was tasty. Finished off with the Pistachio Papi French toast and it was the highlight of the day. It was surprisingly light, well balanced and not too sweet, it was the perfect finish to our meal. We also took some of the in house bakery items and they were fresh and delicious. Had the orange almond cake and the brownies and both were so moist. The lovely lady who served us at the end of our meal was really sweet and friendly. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back.
We took 2 minutes walk from our hotel to Yolk cafe for our last day staying in Adelaide.nWe’re told that the QR ordering code not working well then placed our order at the counter.nFood, service and atmosphere are all good above average.nComparing with the price and quality, we decided to try the Rice Kimchi Scrambled egg with fried chicken. Yes, it is delicious.nAbsolutely, I will revisit it when there is a chance.
Yolk has to be one of our favourite brunch spots in Adelaide.nThe menu is full of so many great options, the food is delicious, the staff are so friendly and the place overall has a great vibe!nCan’t wait to come back here again soon.
Lovely experience! The decor is very calming, modern and bright with lots of real indoor plants. There is a nice outside dining section. The staff were very friendly and attentive, there when you need them without over-servicing. Toilets were very clean. A variety of food, drinks and desserts available on the menu, with a mini shop where you can buy Yolk branded merchandise like coffee, cups, bags and more. The food tasted great with lots of flavours and textures and presented beautifully! A very comfortable place to catch up with friends/family or have lunch with your laptop and catch up on emails. Will return soon. Thanks
