Yummy food and seamless system. There is always a bit of a wait at the door but food comes out really quickly and they don’t have table service you just write down your order and pay at your own leisure which means table turnover is quite fast. If you just want one of their drinks or desserts which I highly recommend, they have a takeaway/to-go window so you don’t need a table to purchase them. Drinks are so yummy and I wouldn’t recommend leaving until you’ve tried one. They have a heap of options to choose from, and they’re pretty much the price of a bubble tea. Once you order and pay for your food, it comes out within the next 5 minutes! Portions are good. They don’t charge for takeaway containers either if you don’t manage to finish which is rare nowadays. I found the food quite tasty. Chadstone has a lot of places to eat but this is definitely not one to skip. I can get over waiting for a table since pretty much every other place in the shopping centre also has waiting lines. Highly recommended!
Food wise is 5/5 but service could definitely be improved. We stood there for a good 10 minutes while the servers were walking pass us and collecting money at the cashier Doesn’t felt very nice to be walked pass like this as we were invisible. Shop itself wasn’t crowded to begin with. However, the time for them to serve our food was quick so I guess that’s good!
Nice quality Japanese food with a great range of options that are hard to find anywhere else. Bustling atmosphere but for good reason — it’s a popular spot to get a Japanese food fix! Love their Matcha soft serve especially. Ramen is delicious.
We ordered the tonkotsu ramen and tempura mix. The broth was thick and creamy with 2 pretty decent size pork slices. Tempura was amazing better eat it while it's still hot. I will definitely pay a second visit.
Great location and ambience. Food was pretty good too. Enjoyed the ramen and other food items. Quick service and fast moving crowd. Try out their ice cream shakes with green tea or vanilla softee
The spicy ramen had a good kick to it with the rich and clean broth, the toppings were a great flavour enhancer to the dish. The red chicken karaage had crispy chicken, nicely mild. Good soup and a nice restaurant.
We like ramen. Period. We enjoy Yokozuna especially the dry ramen. Portion is generous and very tasty. You have to try the spicy ramen, so good. If you are not in the mood of eating ramen, get the bento box. Tasty!!! If you do not know what to eat while visiting Chadstone, go to this place.
Soggy or nearly mushy noodle soaked in the salty but far from umami soup. The ramen quality is below the average even in Melbourne standard. Can easily get better quality ramen with the same price elsewhere tbh even the Ajisen Ramen is better than them. I feel the service is ok, but my wife said one of the waitress roll her eye on us and I see another review mentioned it as well. Maybe the employer should pay more attention to the employee wellbeing, especially the eye health. At the end of the day, I care more about food and could not care less about the service, so I rank them below average for their pool food quality.
Excellent ramen, bento and tea lattes. Pork is very tender. I like the red hot version as it has a bit of spice and not really red hot
I went back to the restaurant and had matcha afogato. It was absolutely delicious and generous serving, and the staff who served me was very friendly. The following review was written some weeks ago. I had ramen there a few times, and it's all right. Today, I had just sweets. One of the wait staff was far from friendly - no greeting, robotic, taking money, giving me the change, pointing at food with no words meaning my food was ready so I had to take it to my table by myself. No problems to pick up my food, but it would have been nice if she said thank you. I don't think the shop needs any floor staff.
