Place is nice, staff are friendly but the food is just too spicy, maybe best to mention it on the menu. I couldn't finish the rice.

What is there not to love about Avalon. I get to wear my blue and white stripped shirt and enjoy the village atmosphere and Yoda Food is a quaint hole in the wall style cafe worth dropping in to.
Took some friends to yoda in Avalon last night. We were blown away by the food. It was like being back in Malaysia. Very authentic. Relaxed vibe and friendly service. The music out back was very loud though, so glad we weren't seated there! Make sure you book a room out front. Highly recommend !
Great food but hopeless service. We've been a few times but now only go at lunchtime when you've a better chance of getting your order done correctly. Had a few orders stuffed up or forgotten you see. That said though the food and ambience is very good. So perhaps great chef and rubbish management??
The food at Yoda is always great, however this time around one of their staff was shocking. She was rude and quite openly admitted that she didn't want to be there. Not very inviting.
Good plating. Flavours are westernized. I a bit mild for me personally
Amazing food, friendly service. Opens early so great for kids too!
