Foods are really good with the reasonable price and generous portion. Too bad the waiting time take quiet a while. Ambience of the restaurant is nice if its not busy, but if it's busy I can day it's quiet cramped. They have 2 floors but I'm guessing they open the 2nd floor only during peak hours. We came on Saturday afternoon and almost all the tables were full. It's a bit cramped. Only 1 girl working in the front and also only q people working in the kitchen I think that's why foods came out quiet a while. But the restaurant decorated with Thailand's authentic decorations that are really cute.
If you like spicy Thai food, this is a place to go. The good old Ying Thai spiciness will keep you sweat running but craving for more.Food: 5/5
This place is one of our favourites Thai Restaurants in Melbourne - it never fail to impress regardless how busy they get A must try if you are in the area
I happened to dine at the same time as the lovely Tania below. The food, especially the curry was amazing. Tania, you were so bloody rude when you were speaking to the waiter and how dare you bring children into your argument who were also dining. If you don’t want to hear kids talk and play while eating, stay home. Great food team and great service! Loved the sticky rice :
The best Thai restaurant so far. The food is delicious and the staff very nice and effective. This is a small restaurant with a lot of character. Highly recommend this place if you want good Thai food and they also have a good variety of vegetarian and vegan food. This is my go to whenever I want Thai and eat good food.
Since writing my review, the owner of the restaurant wrote back and called me a “greedy, dine in and dash” customer who was looking for charity. Also threateningly said they still have video footage of myself and don’t bother coming back. Like that was a possibility! Dear owner of Thaiger Rabbit, don’t threaten your customers. Don’t accuse your customers of not wanting to pay when it was your waiter who offered the refund. And above all, listen to feedback rather than posting derogatory posts. The food here is average and the non alcoholic drinks are totally overpriced. I ordered a red curry with crispy pork $23. The pork was practically non existent in the dish. Instead there were roughly chopped veggies which were undercooked and literally swimming in a sauce that was ho hum. When I complained the waiter got defensive. Don’t understand all the rave reviews. Our local take away does better.
This is my FAVOURITE Thai restaurant in the world I am in love. Their pad see ew is impeccable one of the best I have ever had, it has this awesome smoky flavour too it. I’d also highly recommend the crying thaiger. Portion sizes are large and tasty. Always impressed with their food. I’m eating it right now as I write this review it’s just so good
The Tom Yum soup would have been perfect if not for the overpowering taste of the lemongrass. There were hints of sweetness, spiciness and sourness, underneath all that lemongrass-ness. The seafood was reasonably fresh, and cooked well. The thin and flat slices of beef in the red curry were a bit disappointing, as they were more suited for stir fries rather than curries. On the bright side, the curry sauce was not just flavourful, but smooth and creamy. The roti wasn't crisped enough, and was too soft even before soaking up the curry. I haven't had a pineapple fried rice in a long time, and this one brought back all the feels. The sweet and zesty flavours imparted from the pineapple was delightful, and overall it was well-seasoned. Decent Thai feed in Richmond. Friendly service all around.
Inviting warm atmosphere with service to match. Happy to come back to sample more of menu. The Jaow Samut combo of deep fried fish, prawn and crab balls were a highlight. All noodle dishes can be upsized as was our Pad See Eww, good flavours but could do with slightly more wok char. Pud Graprow was spot on - a bit cheeky to charge extra for plain rice when the dish should come with it. Thaiger Rabbit 'secret recipe' cocktail taste of chrysanthemum tea, mild at first but has an after kick to it later.
Our food so quick and testy i love deep fried soft shell crab and beef noodle. We havd lunch there in a budget price.. noodle+1 fried chicken + drink for under $20. Staff so friendly. She recommends me a very very yummy food. Love this place. Definitely come back here again
