Good price telecom but service could be improved

Talk about uninviting. Was met with a sigh, than as soon ad I said upgrade I was asked what colour iPhone. Staff had a “why are you even here attitude” not a good front for Optus at all.

I went into Optus Unley yesterday to enquire about stock availability for the Iphone X and was told at that point that they had received their stock and that I should queue up this morning. I got to the store at 7.30 and was first in queue. Staff arrived shortly thereafter, no conversation at that point. At 8am we were told that there had been a last minute change and no phones were in stock. So the staff both lied to me and didn't update me when I first arrived at 7.30 thus wasting my time along the insult of no stock. Completely jacked off with the lack of professionalism by all concerned and once my contract ends next October, I will not rejoin with Optus. You have lost a customer forever, one that has been with you for many year

Extremely unpleasant. Shop staff were aggressive and not at all helpful with my problem. Seemed more interested in denying accountability than helping me find a workable solution. Management creates a 'them and us' culture that assumes all customers are acting fraudulently and hence are particularly aggressive regarding potential privacy abuse issues. I will never go into this shop again and the experience has left a sour taste in my mouth when I think of Optus. Learn a bit about customer service rather than focusing on aggressive sales strategies. Very disappointing!
