Would not recommend! Management are happy to sign up a new customer and give out a phone on the spot, however will not look after an existing Optus customer with an expired contract. I was told by staff "the boss will kill us if we did it". A friend with my exact circumstances was resigned in the Forrest Hill branch for the same offer and received his phone. It seems like they can, they just don't want to at this store.

If there is 0 rating, I would definitely choose that. The worst customer service I'd ever experienced. The staff are rude and mannerless. They told us to bring passport, and we went home and fetched our passport. The second time, they told us that bank card is also required, and I argued with them that why would not they told us the first time and was answered with that everyone makes mistakes. What the f***, this is what they do, if they can't even get it right, why just f**king go home!

Outstanding service , my phone was damaged and the staff attended to my issue immediately. I thank all the staff for their assistance in this matter as well as past queries and issues. Thank you again !!

DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT HERE! If you want to get a plan with Optus please go to another store. Professionalism is a 0 Customer service is a 0 as well as Manners. Got served by 'Angelique' (not sure if she gave me her real name) advised that she couldn't sign my plan up to the student discount and I had to sort it out on my own. Spoke to someone over the phone who said she was wrong and advised that they put notes on the account and told me to return to the store. I went back an hour after signing a contract she yelled at me aggressively saying I will loose my job because of you I told you I'm not doing it and told me to leave when I politely declined and asked her to just check the notes as per my phone call She screamed at the top of her voice "I'm only casual I will loose my job if you don't leave I'll call security" she continued yelling while I stood there with my mouth shut and she condescendingly would refer to me as hunny while yelling and I asked her to stop before she brought in another worker and told him 'I wasn't listening'. while setting up the contract she also made snarky comments like "you should know what phone you want if you're coming in store'" and "I'm not an iPhone user I don't understand people who are" mind you I was purchasing an iPhone. A formal complaint is in the process of being lodged. The experience was so bad that I have thoroughly considered changing providers and I have used Optus for 9 years now.
