Story

The YBR CAPS Facebook page is a happy online space for us to share our revolutionary approach to school fees.

YBR CAPS is an online program for Yeshivah-Beth Rivkah Colleges that calculates the total annual school fees based on annual household income. Outstanding Jewish education, now accessible to all.

A little bit about Yeshivah-Beth Rivkah Colleges:
With our roots going back to the early 1950s, our day school began with a handful of full time students. Fast-forward six decades and we have grown into a thriving and nurturing community school catering to approximately 1,300 students across five campuses.

We believe that Jewish education should be accessible to all, regardless of individual needs, religious background or capacity to pay fees.

We are a personal school, with personal relationships and a personal touch.

SOCIAL MEDIA POLICY
We strive to maintain a positive, friendly and informative environment for all our Facebook page visitors and we expect our visitors to be responsible and respectful online. Yeshivah – Beth Rivkah, as is common practice, moderates content and may edit or delete visitor comments.

Our policy is applicable to all social media users, both during and outside business hours. We will not accept content that includes:
• commercial advertising or spam
• profanity
• defamation
• offensive language
• personal details, especially personal information that relates to individual students, parents, teachers or private figures. Personal information includes: first or last name, contact information, home address, phone numbers, e-mail address, last names of friends or relatives, instant messaging names, age, or birth date.

Content will be moderated or removed that disparages or demonstrates bias against any individual or group of people, or contains the above-mentioned unacceptable content.

Legal Liability
When individuals choose to go public with opinions and comments, they are legally responsible for their commentary. YBR takes no responsibility for individual posts and/or comments and they are done at the users’ risk. Individuals can be held personally liable for any commentary deemed to be defamatory, obscene, proprietary, or libellous. The summary position is that you use social media at your own risk. Outside parties can pursue legal action against you for postings.
