Was by far the best experience I have ever had visiting an Emergency Department, the staff showed amazing empathy, we're re assuring and very professional. I have heard bad things about the Yarrawonga Hospital., all not true. Thankyou to the reception people, the nurses and Doctors you were amazing and pat yourselves on the back.
My daughter had a knee operation today at Yarrawonga, the operating rooms were immaculate and the nursing staff were excellent throughout. I highly recommend !
Went to the Emergency Room due to a leg injury only to find that the only doctor at the hospital was off duty so the consultation was with a doctor in Melbourne via phonenThe nursing staff were excellent but I would have expected a hospital in a major town would have more than one doctornThe consultation was thorough but trying to get medical advice really works better face to facenThe government needs to provide more support for rural hospitals
My father recently was admitted in the acute section. He had Covid which wreaked havoc on him. He became so weak he didn’t have the strength to walk. The nurses, drs, everyone that attended to him were amazing, even the cleaners, morning tea ladies were fabulous. Dad thought the food was delicious too. Hope you enjoyed your boxes of chocolates because it was certainly warranted.
The care they provide is horrible. I waited 2 hours with no one to come and check on me and was put on virtual ed after all that time. The nurse was beyond rude and sarcastic. I ended up leaving and no one even noticed. The doctor was too busy on his phone and the nurses couldn’t have cared less.
