Terriable experience here. Water pump runs sat night at dinner time for 3 hours and was a doof doof on while we here there and didn't get made awear about it went from 4 pm and was still going 10 am when we left the next day. Not relaxing at all. Lots of people around acting like they were on frugs ans not good for the kids sourrounded by that culture.

Awesome Place. Just what we wanted. Quiet little spot on the Island. Hot showers..clean Toilets. 5 star Camping. Thx guys..Elmar and Brigitte

Great spot for swimming in summer. Cheap. Small, limited sites. Bring some cash.

We found Yarramalong camp ground from Google top camp grounds of Brisbane!! We recently stayed a week and enjoyed ourselves. The site manager, Matt, was lovely and very helpful. He delivered wood daily and removed rubbish as needed. We hired kayaks to go up the river which was fun for all. Our only disappointment was no working lights in the toilets and showers which made my wife feel unsafe using them at night. Showers and toilets were kept in an ok condition. The kiosk was also not as advertised and non existent however, as we weren't reliant on it, it wasn't an issue. Overall we had a great time on the beautiful kept grounds with lots of space for the kids to play and breathtaking views of the scenic rim.

FOUND THIS PLACE GOOD FOR ONE NIGHT NEAR LAKE MOOGERAH, NOT OVER SCHOOL HOLIDAYS AND WEEKENDS, THOUGH. WALK DOWN TO THE RIVER TURNING LEFT UNTIL YOU FIND SOME ROCKS, GREAT SWIMMING IN FLOWING AND CLEAN WATER. THATS ALL WE NEEDED, WAS PRETTY HOT. HIGH TREES WITH LOTS OF SHADE - WARM SHOWERS AND FACILITIES OK - BASIC CAMPING WITH OPEN FIRES ALLOWED.
