The home was beautiful, neat, clean and cosy. Close to cafes and shops. My only down fall was that, the owner knocks on the door unannounced or without calling before arriving, the evening we arrived and tells us he was there to check the dishwasher, I believe he was only there to check up on us as he only opened and quickly closed it, without inspecting it. He then questioned why there was 1 male and 3 females staying the weekend. I felt embarrassed and uncomfortable. I didn’t have to tell him anything as we had paid for our stay way back in April, upfront, the full amount without any refund if we had cancelled, however, even though it was none of his business why we were there, I felt the need to tell him it was a yearly siblings weekend in honour of our brother who passed. This left a sour taste with us all. We left the home in a neat and tidy condition. I would say as good as we found it, besides making up the beds. All the towels were left folded on the laundry bench, all dishes, glasses, cups and cutlery used was washed and put away, and benches, and tables all wiped down. We did unfortunately break a glass whilst cleaning up and left a note letting them know I would be happy to replace if needed. Apart from feeling this way, we really couldn’t fault the home at all. Healesville is a pretty town.
Beautiful Accommodation in a quiet street, close to the Main stretch of Healesville. Stayed here the night before my wedding with one of my bridesmaids, and then on the wedding night with my husband. Spacious property that is very modern and lovely to be in. Scott & Carmel were fantastic to deal with, we even used them for transfers to and from our wedding Yarra Valley Rides. Highly recommend Yarra Valley Escape for anyone wanting accommodation in Healesville.
We absolutely LOVED our stay at Yarra Valley Escape! We cannot recommend staying here more. We stayed here post-wedding and found it was the perfect getting ready location but also a beautiful stay. The house is in a beautiful and quiet location and yet still close to the main town. The house was very clean and modern with cosy fireplaces and comfortable beds. The large King room and ensuite are both incredible and make the house feel luxurious.nnScott and Carmel were super lovely and helpful hosts to engage with. They were easy to communicate with and happy to provide things to make our stay special.nnScott and Carmel also provide transfers as a part of Yarra Valley Rides, which we engaged with and loved.
Beautiful accommodation in a nice quiet area. Scott was very helpful. We loved the big freestanding bath and everything was so clean and modern but also felt homely. Would definitely recommend this gorgeous house.
nice accomodationnnlocation was great 2mins drive from 4 pillars & no 7 healesville both great places nnbig master with huge bathroom & bathnnsecond room also queen bed with shared toilet with washing no dryer..strange the toilet door on shared entrance side not lockablennliving nice sofa big tvndining & kitchen all nice..strange no kitchen paper towels we got some from coles..nndigital main door lock quite handy no need fish for keysnnwe had a really strange review by the owners at odds with the 20 airbnb owner reviews we had at other properties with many specifically emphasised we are clean & tidynnthe rubbish empty bottles were emptied to the outside trash bin, no cups dishes on tables everything in dishwasher..nnif there were any tea bags coffee bags in the kitchen rubbish bin it was because 1hr forward time adjustment so we are rushing… checking out like 9am 10am becos 1hr adjustment & a sick 15mth baby & we had emptied to outside trash bin already.nndoubtful if there were anything on the floor at all?nnwe consider the remarks very rudennowner did provide a baby cot nnone advise to travellers - take a video of the place when checking out
