I haven’t touched these golf clubs for 23 years. But it was a great pleasure to hit again some golf balls on the driving range and using the putting green. The atmosphere was amazing, like a little family. I also greatly enjoyed a coffee on the terrace and the staff was lovely too. They even gave us golf clubs for the kids to practice. One was in bright orange, and my son called it Lamborghini orange, hence he had a blast too.
Recently updated driving range with northerly aspect/ views. Interactive golf feature is cool to use and very straightforward. Range can be quite busy at times, however worth the experience. Reasonable charges for either 50 or 100 balls. Great opening hours.
Good and conveniently located driving range. Good facilities at the club house. You need to pick up the ball voucher from the golf shop which you walk past to get to range, but there is no signage letting you know. Only issue is the car park if you can find one.
I have been learning golf here over the past six months. The lessons with James have been fantastic. The driving range is in good condition. It can get very busy, but you don’t usually have to wait too long for a bay. The course is excellent. On a sunny weekend, it is a bit busy and stressful for a beginner like me. If you have an early start, the coffee is good too.
Good place for beginner golfers. Course is fun, but too short and in poor condition if you're after decent golf. It's also super slow. But if you know what you're in for lots of waiting on the tee box, patchy fairways and greens, short holes, it's just fine. Great entry level golf.
good driving range but little bit on the expensive side. would recommend arriving early afternoon if you want to have a spot for the evening as it can get quite busy on weeknights
Great course, its in great condition, nice food and drinks in the pro shop. Only downside to this course, is there are absolutely no drinking fountains. Tough on a hot day. Otherwise i enjoyed myself thoroughly.
The worst golfing experience on one of the best golf courses in the belt. Discourteous staff who’d as sooner grunt at you rather than greet you with something like “hello how can I help you.” The course is in immaculate condition. But I draw a line at playing 12 holes in 4 and a half hours. If everybody playing was on a sub 15 handicap 4 minute tee times would work. I’d as sooner eat my own shoe or play northcote twice in a day than go here again.
Came here today for 2:45 booking with two friends and had a terrible experience with the customer service. Having never golfed before, the staffer could not have been more unhelpful. He was frosty from the beginning and gave us our set of clubs each and that was it. Confused as what to do, we returned and asked for some clarity and we were hence given our scorecards and told the metal beams given to us were for carting the buggy and to go to hole 2 because we are now running behind time. We then went to hole 2 and went to start before finding out we had no golf balls on us. At this point, we decided to just walk back into the store and drop the clubs off and leave. Having worked in customer service, it’s not hard to give people some clarity and direction and to give them a pleasurable experience. You should have told us we needed balls, gave us our scoresheet from the beginning, gave us some detail as to the course, at least showed some semblance of good manners and made us feel welcome. If the management is interested, it was the bald-headed middle-aged guy working at 2:45 on the counter. Waste of money and paid for an experience we couldn’t even utilise.
Awesome facilities, great pro shop, touch screens in driving bays for great feedback. Great public course, good variation of holes, quite picturesque with many holes along the banks of the Yarra. Greens a little soft but running well.
