This place was fantastic, it was extremely interesting, well presented and has many artifacts from the areas early times, you access it via the visitors centre and is very reasonably priced at $7 per adult without conssesion we worth a look if your going through yankalilla
We had a lovely experience walking around the museum and the range of displays. Probably the best small museum I have seen in a while. Really well maintained, full of old artifacts and facts. My 16 month old had a great time looking at things.
I spent an hour here on Saturday, it's interesting and well set out. Many smaller buildings require access from outside so not good if it rains. Friendly and helpful staff, a worthwhile visit. Only improvements would be more paving and covered areas to the outside buildings to assist 4 wheel walker and wheelchair users.
Amazing displays, beautifully executed. Could have spent all day reading, listening to and looking at the vast collections of items. Well done!
Very well set out. I love the little booklet for the kids. It really gets their interest and they learn some local history while having fun.
