A great lookout with amazing views across Brisbane and out to the Scenic Rim. Easy walk from Illaweena Road Picnic Area. Edit. On a clear day, you can see Mount Tamborine, Springbrook and Lamington Plateaus, Mount Warning, The Border Ranges, Mount Lindesay, Mount Barney, and Flinders Peak just to name a few of the features which can be seen from this lookout. You need to be careful and children should be supervised though as there are sheer cliff drops on the sides of the lookout.
Such a beautiful place to walk and watch the sunset/sunrise, hard to find the top of it, it would be great if someone could share the top location
Great view from Yagara Rocks Lookout. A bit slippery due to gravel on the way down. An excellent addition if you're already going to the old quarry.
Great view from this spot and a long bush walk. I would suggest gps turned on your mobile phone to navigate to get to this spot though as there are a lot of tracks throughout. Take water with you.
Beautiful location with a great view of the forest and the highway. Long hot walk to get there though but fairly good and well signed tracks. No sign specifically for the lookout though, but using google maps terrain view it's not hard to work out.
