We stayed there for one nightnWas a lovely room but unfortunately a couple of negatives !!nWhen you turned the shower on was very loud from all the other rooms like really deafening for a few minutes our children was woken by this . And the pool was beautiful and warm but unfortunately. Very dirty . Needs some love and care if you want tourists to return. Was very loud to near the road . So unfortunately a 3 star . Most likely would not return .
Stayed there for full five days last week under new management which is rude, with zero concept of customer service. I was refused initially when asked for a room change from lower level to upper level. Lower level has front facing window which is unusable because people are smoking, sitting on the chairs outside. The reason given is we don't allow room change. Only after long conversation/dramas about luggage transfer a room change was permitted. Only one garbage bag change and small milk packet was serviced in 5 nights I stayed. When asked about why towels are not changed and room service was not done after two consecutive days; I was accused of being aggressive which i kindly ask to review through own reception CCTV camera. Had stayed at this place number of times in the past with old management without any issues. So stay away from this place if you can
Lovely rooms, good customer service upon check-in, only really bad thing so far after one night is there is so much road noise, being on a highway. Even with everything closed up I still tossed and turned all night :/
The staff are rude and refused to assist when I phoned about my partners room. The room key was handed out to another person a day before the stay. No meals. No guest laundry and rooms not serviced daily . Would not recommend.
OMGnnRoom 20. !!!!! One male in a family room next to Bruce highway, line right on it, as no other rooms available @ $250 per night for 2 nights.nnI'm a building inspector, and the air-conditioner I have pics had several cms of daylight shining through the gaps in the hole in the wall. ?????nnNo wifi, no pay TV, the ppl with a baby in next room may have well been in my room, as there is CLEARLY zero insulation between rooms, so I had the pleasure of a crying baby.nnFor the price, and I'd travelled from Melbourne to Far north QLD,, it was not only the dearest but the worst place of my 6000km round trip.nnI'll be sure to keep travelling to the next town if I'm ever up this way again, I'd give it -6 out of 10 on a good day.
