I wasn’t expecting much when I visited XS Espresso North Parramatta, but it turned out to be a pleasant surprise! I stopped by because most other cafes close early on Sundays, and I’m so glad I did. The pizza was delicious, and the coffee is definitely worth recommending. They also use halal chicken though it’s always good to double-check. I’ll be coming back for sure!
A busy, vibrant cafe with a bright, cheerful ambience.nThe staff are friendly and efficient without being in your face.nFood quality is quite good, fresh and seasoned just right.nI guess that means we will be back to try their popular açai bowl soon.
A delightful cafe, that serves amazing coffee and food, in that order also providing enough baked goods to satisfy your sweet cravings. I discovered this place post run at Parramatta lake, and has been the place for weekend coffee fix since then. It can get a tad rush in the mornings, but is totally worth it.nBreakfast wise, we’ve tried the açai bowl, chilli scrambled eggs and shakshuka sans sujuk. While I’m not a personal fan of açai, it is refreshing, love the sourdough soaked in the tomato based sauce with poached eggs.nThe desserts can vary during dinner, and we got to try their soufflé with strawberries, banana and chocolate ice cream. Their almond croissant is indulging and donuts can be pretty good, but a bit sweet as well.nAs others have noted, the place can be quite cold during winters, but we’ve mostly been here for breakfast/coffee and have found it quite enjoyable.
Recommend for people without children as limited spaces. But kids loves nutela milkshakes!nnThis cafe truly excels in several aspects. I ordered pancakes and a latte. The restaurant was really cold without a heater. Additionally, the latte was made with water and was cold. I complained to the waiter and he changed it for me. In addition, the pancake was also cold and not fresh. I had the experience of going to Espresso XS before and everything was great, but this time everything was unexpected and contrary to what I expected. I hope everything will improve in the future.
