It's terrible here, stay away! but whilst your not here.. I might come here all the time though.. just to hate it.. or to use the wide open spaces, the great parking, the picturesque awesomeness, the bike tracks, the fishing spots, the secluded feeling whilst knowing you cant get lost. Its terrible all the fun I have here.. don't come!

This dam is used for regattas for GPS schools of Queensland. It has ample parking but most of them are not close to the main viewing area. The bathroom facilities are not adequate for the large regattas held here. The picnic areas are very good however.

Loved it. Beautiful and quiet, relaxing and loved seeing the eagles and hawks that are residents to the area. My husband fished by kyack and I sat back and done nothing, it was great.

I come here for mountain biking, so I can't say much about the rest. The mtb tracks are awesome! Specially the Bovine Groove. It is a steep hill at the top but it is well worth it. It goes for 10 minutes down! The area itself is very pretty and relaxing. Good for a day out with kids and picnic.

Great MTB tracks. Recently repaired but, as with all trails, more signs would be good. Some areas can get a bit sandy. A steep ride from the carpark on previous visits, but last visit... January 2018... the gates were open to allow parking on the far side of the reservoir wall.. closer to the trails.
