The chicken was so yummy! I have barely had fresh chicken like this nearby. The staff were also super friendly. Totally recommended!
Chicken waffles are amazing! The boy on the counter was so friendly and knew his product well. Great customer service.
Amazing! The first impression was how friendly and efficient the service was, secondly as I drove my takeaway order away the smell was to die for promising delicious flavours to be had. Once those boxes were opened and we started to devour the tender perfectly fried chicken we knew then that we have an absolute winner on our hands. The crispy chicken and the wings both received big ticks , the fried pickles were good punchy flavours and can't wait to try the others in the selection. The spicy sauce complemented the flavours without overpowering the surprisingly gluten free chicken. Waffle cut fries were like a famous chip, once you pop you couldn't stop. Well done Wu-Cha and keep up the good work.
It's OK. The chips were reminiscent of frozen supermarket chips from a bag, with too much salt. The waffle chips looked better but they were out of them for us to try. The chicken itself was excellent but how hard is it to fry a chicken breast and put it in a bun, pricey for what is glorified pub food. Bun, slaw and sauce were great but too much butter on/in the bun which was overpowering. Got the order wrong mayo instead of BBQ sauce despite repeating it back but that's not the end of the world, mistakes happen, the staff were all professional and welcoming so we didn't complain. Overall, OK. Happy we tried it but I prefer Harry's next door for the variety of flavours and cheaper price for what is fast food.
Had this for dinner the other night, by far the best Korean fried chicken I’ve had in awhile. Will definitely being going back! The owner is a great guy very polite and helpful! 2 issues I had is that unfortunately they’re only open until 8pm! Secondly the sauce which is still quite nice, could be a bit less salty. Beside that was a quality meal and will definitely be back for more.
Amazing chicken. The service at Market Town Wu-Cha was equally amazing! The chicken burgers are the perfect size for a filling meal while the individual pieces will always make you question why you bothered with KFC. The chicken itself is super moist, perfectly cooked and uniquely seasoned to perfection! With amazing prices and super quick service, its officially taken the title "Best Chicken" in my book.
Absolutely delicious chicken, gluten free buns are soft and don't fall apart. Tiny negative, but constructive feedback, one of our party of 8 ordered the waffles and mentioned it needed a bit more sauce... Thank you so much Wu-Cha for calling Newcastle home...
Discovered these guys while waiting for some OfficeWorks printing-wow! With 3 GF family members and a dairy free it is always difficult finding retail food, however Wu-Cha's food is actually GF and these guys actually understand what is and isn't GF/Dairy free etc. The food was brilliant! Sauce to die for! Best chicken burger I have had in years and the salad was fantastic! Amazing knowing there are still actual chefs out there who have great customer service, top notch food on the street and know how health related food issues work. The restaurant has a cool vibe and the food came quickly. Will be back for sure!!!!
Ceoliac friendly, gluten free chicken and chips. The chicken was hot and crispy, the chips were a bit mediocre. The sauces were amazing. I could just put them on everything. It's not the best korean Chicken, but it is pretty good and the attention to food allergies really means a lot to me. This newer addition to marketown really impressed me with how friendly the staff were. It has stiff competition being right near two other places selling hot chicken, but i would love to see this place get more business and locations.
After ordering uber eats for my partner and I, on delivery we realised that there was a meal missing. I called the restaurant and was greeted with a friendly voice. After describing what had happened I was put onto the manager Josh. He was quick to offer to make the order and to personally deliver our meal. Josh was calm, friendly and honestly so helpful. It was a great experience having the manager of a restaurant go up and beyond. Thank you so much Josh. The food was delicious!
