I cannot rave about this place enough. Took my mom here on our celebration and it was my first time dining in Wow Buffet as well but I gotta say, they did not disappoint me. I'm so happy we went here. Everything from their food, atmosphere, customer service, pricing - was on point and they make you feel like you wanna come back again. They make you feel like you can introduce this place to people and get compliments for your choice of restaurant. The manager and all the staffs were so nice and kind. Delicious and various options for entree, main, hotpot, and dessert at a very affordable price. Excellent interior theme and design with a cozy atmosphere. They keep all the food trays very clean and tidy which I think it's a big plus. I highly recommend this place and cannot wait to see them grow more and more within the industry.
$40 per person for dinner, great range and owner is super cool. Must book or you won’t be able to get a spot. Great range of food especially their dessert. Very cool they provide drinks as part of the cost. Tables are spaced nicely so there is enough space to walk. Very clean and the waiting staffs are proactively topping up water and clearing dishes. Would definitely rate this over any other hotpot buffets in Auckland
Definitely value for money! Certainly it's not a fancy 5 stars buffet, but look at the price you pay, and all the food display, you have nothing to complain. The owner is extremely friendly, great hospitality. So many options of the cold and hot dishes including desert and ice cream. Come on, what else are you asking for? If you have a big stomach this is the place you must come, you will be very satisfied.
We had the best time, I didn't catch the guys name who served us and helped us, but he was amazing. Being my first time having hot pot, he told us how everything works, and what order to do everything in. And I'm glad we listened, because we were almost rolling out of that place because of how full we were. I had the best time. So so sooooooooo many options, staff are friendly, and everything is explained perfectly. We will definitely be back, maybe with more people.
I love buffet in general because of the range of food you can eat is great. I’m glad that there’re fungus, mushrooms, seaweeds, yam, leafy greens and tofu for my vegetarian partner. I also got some squid dumplings and chicken drumstick for myself. The cake slices, orange slices and plum juice taste nice as well. It’s also good to have a small hot pot for each customer. Also great customer service from the manager. He really put efforts into it and was attentive.
One of the best hot pot buffet restaurants in Auckland. Variety of food choices with reasonable prices. Each person chooses their own soup paste. Perfect place for a group of people to have a hot pot and do not need to think about choosing soup paste for the whole group. The place is clean. Their utensils, bowls, and dishes are kept in a cupboard with UV light. The staff and owner are helpful and friendly. Another good point is they don't surcharge on public holidays Highly recommend.
Such a great place and decent price for all you can eat. Fresh vegetables and such a good array of meats and vege options. Most of all the service is amazing, the manager was incredibly hospitable. If you need the best hotpot in north Auckland, go here.
would recommend trying Wow Buffet for the buffet hotpot experience. make sure to book first as it gets really full. for the price $39.90 dinner, it is definitely worth if you have the stomach for it and choose the more expensive options. non-buffet hotpot would be way more expensive. things i enjoyed: - good and fast service - wide range of cooked food, cold dishes , and frozen food for hotpot, even ice cream - clean restaurant and bathroom - 2 hours dining time things i didn’t enjoy: - the ready cooked food was very dry and stale - the flame for the pot seemed to be lowered so it took a long time to heat up and cook the cold/frozen food - a small amount of lamb and beef slices are put out so you can only take a little and have to wait for them to add more - tomato soup base doesn’t have much flavour - the soft drinks in large 1.5 or 2.0 litre bottles were all open/used which is a bit gross because what if someone drank from it with their mouth TIPS: if you eat here, don’t get any or just a small amount of the ready cooked food because it’s kind of bad, but definitely try the cold dishes on the rounded table. mainly pick the meats and seafood. DONT GET NOODLES. let the soup come to a boil before putting meat in. drink the soybean milk instead of soft drinks.
Fantastic service and huge variety of hotpot ingredients, side dishes, and cooked foods. The owner of the restaurant was extremely welcoming and friendly, and we had a great evening. Favourite hotpot restaurant in Auckland, highly recommend!
I got to know why this restaurant is famous : The boss and staffs are super friendly. Haven’t had that good service in other restaurants for a long time. Loved mini pot so didn’t have to share soup with others. Many side options. will def come back again :Recommended dishesHot Pot Buffet
