Outstanding customer service that goes above and beyond. The team at Woolys Wheels always go out of their way to look after me whether its a quick adjustment or something more. My advice to people is. Put the effort in and build a relationship with your bike store. Thanks WW Team for the recent assistance with new tech - Love your work!
This bike shop is one of the few beautiful bike shops in Sydney that has high end cycling gear but not attitude. The layout of the shop is inviting and calm without the “rushed” feeling of other bike shops. They’ve also been around for 43 years so that says something. My fav local bike shop in Sydney.
Brought my bike over from the UK. Needed a little TLC. Woolys sorted it out and provided a load of good advice and friendly service. My go to bike shop now. Thanks, guys!
Definitely one of the best bike shops in Sydney! Especially if you need to service performance bikes or buy high quality parts!
Was served by Ksystof & was impressed with the entire experience Initial enquiry made by me via email, quick response with detailed information that encouraged me to come in for a fitting and to test ride the bikes Came in next day and purchased on the spot after testing 2 bikes, great information & I felt comfortable & confident with the whole process and the decision I made on the bike chosen Great price for the bike and accessories. All round 5 star experience
A fantastic bike shop with a great range of bikes and accessories. My son lost his bike at uni and we searched high and low all over Sydney for a Giant Talon bike. We got one here at Woolys Wheels and the staff were friendly and helpful. A few months later , my son broke the chain while riding and we brought it back to get it fixed. They took care of issue promptly. So happy we found this shop.Don’t waste yr time going elsewhere.
As a woman cyclist who visit bike shops more than nail salons, I’ve been to many snooty, intimidating ones until I went to Wooly’s. The staff were some super friendly and chilled dudes with beard who are passionate about building bikes. They are also great listeners to what customer want. I end up getting a Diverge from Kris, who was very helpful in giving advice and choosing saddle and tyres to increase comfort and safety. I was thrilled to see how good it looked at the end and even happier to know that now my bikes have a place that will take good care of them. Thanks Woolys! Look forward to espresso with sparkling water.
While the bike worked leaving the shop, I’m unlikely to come back for another service. Despite getting a gold package I’m not sure what it resulted in. I needed a second full clean to complete the full clean. I ended up paying separately for new tyres that were evidently taken off a new bike that someone else had upgraded from, so of course they lasted about 1km on the road. The level of care and respect has dropped off here quite a lot in my opinion.
Feeling ripped off by being charged $25 per wheel to put tyres on. I wasn't advised there would be a cost beforehand. Other shops don't charge a fee for fitting tyres that are purchased in the shop. Had I known there was a fee I would have done it myself because it is a quick and easy job that I have done many times. So I complained and they took off the price of fitting one. The manager told me that since I booked in the service 2 weeks ago the price of the service had gone up by $25 so I had in effect saved $50. But when I went to pay there was an additional charge for a headset bearing. Obviously this is an important part and you don't want a steering failure so of course I needed to get it. You have to trust the mechanics right? Oddly the cost of this part was $25. Coincidence? I'm a long-term customer who bought my first bike there in 2001. I won't be back. Shame, because I've had a lot of servicing done there and they usually do a good job.
Super friendly and helpful team. Purchased a giant TCR from the guys which I’m stoked about. Great customer service every time I stopped by
