Good Woolworths. Has a great range of goods particularly if you pair it with Harris Farm next door it’s the perfect one stop shopping trip.nI love the convenience of “Scan & Go” it saves packing groceries into carry thing then unpacking them at checkout then re packing them
This particular Woolies is well positioned providing equitable parking, completely wheelchair accessible and the walk to the store is a stunning display of creative store fronts in a little Cove.nReally well stocked with all the daily living requirements you may need including a half a kilo of sugar free gummie bears as I was craving something sweet but as I am on a diet I saw this opportunity and seized it with a bag in each hand. But here is where things took a turn for the worst.nWhile I explored the rest of the shopping cove eating gummie after gummie the taste is addictive and once i was done we headed back to the car and we left, at this point my guts started to churn a bit much and it was then I knew, I was in DEEP trouble..nStuck in the passenger side of my sisters 2 door hatchback without access to cool are the sweat coming out of me quickly turned into the great flood as now I was not only gingerly holding the seatbelt off my stomach Region and urged my sister to HURRY.. but as soon as the last syllable left my now salty lips the car in front slammed on its breaks and the chain reaction began.. the anger my sister has for me at this point is something I'm worried about as we live together which makes it hard to face her now because the scene that exploded from my tightly clenched starfish absolutely destroyed her car when she had ro slam on her breaks, I was launched forward and the hot mess bypassed my trousers absolutely redecorated her passenger seat, roof, door and of course my sister who is now currently not talking to me and she may need therapy i may need to pay for, so minus 5 stars for that product, though does anyone have any suggestions on who I can hire to clean her car because I can't face that crime scene I left.. cheers!
Great Store, but Veggie Prices Are ClimbingnnI regularly shop at Woolies West Village and generally appreciate the clean layout, friendly staff, and the wide selection of fresh produce. The store is convenient and well-stocked, and customer service is usually excellent.nnHowever, I’ve recently noticed that vegetable prices have skyrocketed—particularly on everyday staples like tomatoes, lettuce, and capsicums. While I understand seasonal fluctuations and supply chain pressures, the price increases are becoming harder to justify for weekly family shopping.nnIt would be great to see more regular specials or multi-buy deals to help ease the cost of fresh essentials. Hoping Woolies can find a balance that supports both growers and everyday shoppers.
I did a direct to boot order at this Woolies and service was great. They got everything on my order, correct with no substitutions. It was quickly brought to my car just after I arrived. The friendly shop assistant offered to help load the shopping into my car as I was holding my upset baby. Usually at the other stores I have been to, they just give you the shopping on a trolley and you have to unload it into your car yourself. The only tricky bit is finding where to pick up the order. When you turn off Mollison St, make sure to take the ramp down to the underground carpark, then follow the signs for direct to boot.
