I was upset to find all registers closed and customers directed through the self self checkout, which the manager informed me was due to staff shortages. She very kindly opened a register for me and my large shop. I was under the impression that the shortage was caused by the store's decision not to employ more staff, rather than a shortage of available staff. Please respect your customers and your very helpful staff by employing more staff to man a register. I don't know anyone who likes to self-checkout a large shop. If it wasn't for this helpful manager I wouldn't be shopping here again.

Food was amazing, Maddie looked after us, explaining every dish, she is in an absolute treasure for the business. We've travelled from Brisbane on holidays and will definitely eat here again on our next visit, thankyou Kevin and Debbie

Not bad. Wierd wafting smell of old fruit and veg when you walk in. But the displays suggest otherwise! Decent store..good size has all you need. Good specials at night. Just an FYI the parking lot is horrendous for pedestrians, trolleys, prams, disabled people and big cars. Not woolies fault
This is a really large and very well set out store. There were a lot of clearance items on sale when we visited this time so we stocked up while we had the chance.

2 choices for Woolies in Torquay go to the new one at NTH TORQUAY they have the old style butcher shop counter where they put your chosen selection in a plastic recyclable and then in a recycled brown paper bag
I really enjoy going to this store. The parking is plentiful. The isles are wide and I have always found the staff helpful. I love the bakery and butchers sections. The decor of the store is calming and for a change..I find shopping relaxing. Go figure.
Clean, tidy, organised. Trolleys are easy to find, helpful staff are easy to find, fresh foods are decent, only thing is lacking is done ranges were a little light or weren't stocked. That being said this is the best store I've been to this year including many Melbourne suburbs.
