Don’t even think about ordering from this place through DoorDash, Menulog, or Uber Eats. The staff handling online orders are an absolute joke , they clearly don’t care at all. I had to wait over two hours for my order. You either need to hire people who actually give a damn about customer orders or just stop accepting online orders altogether. Don’t make a fool of your customers or at least try to hire staff who can work faster and has common sense. If you are short staffed, hire some people.
Pretty solid Woolies! Clean store, shelves usually stocked, and the staff are actually friendly rare for a supermarket. Parking can be a bit chaotic sometimes and the checkout lines move at their own pace, but overall it’s reliable and makes the weekly shop less painful than it has any right to be.
As a resident of Union Quarter Village and someone who frequents this Woolworths location for both personal and professional needs, I can confidently say it’s a reliable and convenient option. Please stop slicing the bread when it’s warm. The pieces stick and glued together. It defeats the whole purpose of “slicing for your convenience”. Has anyone from this store ever actually bought a loaf of bread?
The staff here are excellent, friendly, helpful, and deserving of 5 stars. However, I’m giving 1 star solely due to the bread slicer. It consistently tears the bread rather than slicing it properly!! This is unacceptable for a store of this standard. Woolworths Managers, please invest in a proper bread slicer immediately.
