This is our local Woolies, which we've been coming to since they first opened nearly 2 years ago. It was great at first but has steadily gotten worse and worse. Shelves are regularly empty, and I'm talking about pandemic levels. Weekly specials are mislabelled, and I've been charged incorrectly on several occasions. When I bring it in to return, I am scolded by a junior staff member that I can't return for whatever reason and that it's against policy. It's only when I start getting angry and have to ask for the manager to get it resolved. Management and customer service haven't been able to cope with the growth and increased demand in the area. These photos were taken on a Sunday just after lunch.
I generally have had a good experience in this store and shop here every 2 weeks but today I went in to grab a few items on the way home from work and was shocked when a shop assistant asked me to open my bag at the till, clearly deciding I had stolen something I was so surprised but immediately agreed and opened my bag as I had nothing to hide. My issue was I got no apology or explanation and no one else at the till was asked to open their bags. I was dressed in a long maxi skirt and pink top not anything that would make me look suspicious. I was embarrassed and disappointed with how this happened in the first place but also how when nothing was found that I didn’t receive an apology or a thank you. This really ruined my day and I will now avoid this woolies in the future.
Brand new woollies opened on the 25th of June 22. It was massive and had really good produce and product in all sections.nnDeli and counter staff were lovely too. Convenient spot with all of the new apartments in the Gabba.
How are people not getting a discount from woolworths with self checkouts we are doing the job of service staff. Cost of food has gone up. And why for the love of god does every driver need to get a ticket going on but says on the screen scanning rego what a waste of paper.
This is a relatively new Woolworths so everything looks clean & fresh. Open market style fresh food area. Plenty of parking
