I've been keeping note of prices in this store relative to my local coles in Brisbane. This Woolworths and seemingly all Woolworths are at scam level prices. The same items are regularly on sale in Coles. Woolworths you'll rarely find more than 1 sale item in an entire product shelf. E.g chocolate might have one half price or chips might have one style Doritos half price. Everything else is maximum price. As you can see for this product. Coles have $4 for one or if you wanted 2 for $8. Whereas Woolworths pretending to have a bargain are 1 for $7 or 2 for $12. Meaning you can get 3 of the item at Coles and 2 at Woolworths. I questioned a staff member and he said the product owners set the price. Blatant lies. I should report them to fair trading. I have no idea how they have customers
This is our local Woolies, which we've been coming to since they first opened nearly 2 years ago. It was great at first but has steadily gotten worse and worse. Shelves are regularly empty, and I'm talking about pandemic levels. Weekly specials are mislabelled, and I've been charged incorrectly on several occasions. When I bring it in to return, I am scolded by a junior staff member that I can't return for whatever reason and that it's against policy. It's only when I start getting angry and have to ask for the manager to get it resolved. Management and customer service haven't been able to cope with the growth and increased demand in the area. These photos were taken on a Sunday just after lunch.
Woolworths City Souths has been my go to supermarket because it’s generally well stocked and parking is easier once you know how. However of late it’s getting more popular and parking a little harder. Still better parking than on the Northside where I’ve given up a few times.nWoollies City South is very large and under a big unit block. The parking underneath is down a long ramp. Lots of spaces when you get to the bottom.nThere is a pharmacy, health store. movie theatres, lots of restaurants, take aways, a medical centre and barber above the woollies on the street level. Most shops are still on the quiet side which I like.
Clean store, not much stock due to Mr Alfred, arriving a day taking all the stocknnEasy to move around, gotta few things for the kids schoolnnPlenty of parking on site
I was sent to get a birthday cake and no one could decide what to pick. This age old melodrama solved. For $ 32 sample birthday cake! Waddya mean? Go! Check it out!
