There's Woolworths. Some are great, others are average. But here's one that stands under the spotlight centre stage.nnIt's not just the supermarket's size; it's the sheer diversity and quality of its stock that impressed me. So did the friendly staff. And there's plenty of undercover parking to add to its appeal.nnI went to the centre for other reasons and only discovered Woolworths by accident. Now it is my first choice in supermarkets.
This is a relatively new Woolworths so everything looks clean & fresh. Open market style fresh food area. Plenty of parking
Location central and staff lovely. However delivery drivers dashers etc are.obnoxious, jump the queue, and refuse to get in line lile everyone else. This results in backed up queue into carpark.nI even had a female driver order me to circle round so she could leave!nStaff are constantly accosted by these drivers who are at them the moment the door is opened. They have no option but to get the drivers all out before those of us with booked orders. This needs addressed. Not fair to staff. I called the store recently after sitting for 15 minutes, to report this and the kid just kinda scoffed. Major.issue that will drive customers away due to the drivers aggression.
This is our local Woolies, which we've been coming to since they first opened nearly 2 years ago. It was great at first but has steadily gotten worse and worse. Shelves are regularly empty, and I'm talking about pandemic levels. Weekly specials are mislabelled, and I've been charged incorrectly on several occasions. When I bring it in to return, I am scolded by a junior staff member that I can't return for whatever reason and that it's against policy. It's only when I start getting angry and have to ask for the manager to get it resolved. Management and customer service haven't been able to cope with the growth and increased demand in the area. These photos were taken on a Sunday just after lunch.
Brand new woollies opened on the 25th of June 22. It was massive and had really good produce and product in all sections.nnDeli and counter staff were lovely too. Convenient spot with all of the new apartments in the Gabba.
