Good range of products. I've noticed a few cleaning issues, but staff have been good when I pointed them out. The quality of fresh produce is a bit average at times, eg I put back several packs with mouldy cherries in them during my last shop.nThe staff sometimes block the aisles with trolleys etc while filling the shelves, and seem to expect customers to work around them rather than moving so customers can get to the products.nStaff at the checkouts are friendly.
Nice, Big and New. Had lots to choose from, a variety of meats that I don’t usually see and liked the fact that they had ready to eat nibbles pies etc and fresh made sushi. Was pretty impressed I guess being brand new definitely helps. Parking was ample and easy access and egress.
I live in the Smith Collective apartments next door and have been shopping at this Woolworths almost every day for years. I’ve always enjoyed coming here and it’s usually a pleasant part of my routine.nnYesterday I came in at 5:54pm to quickly grab three items for my grandmother who had to unexpectedly stay with me. As I walked in, a lovely young staff member kindly let me know the store was closing in five minutes. I said that was totally fine as I only needed a couple of minutes.nnAlmost immediately after, an older staff member, Amy, told me I would need to hurry because they were closing. I again said that was fine as I knew exactly what I needed. At 5:57pm Amy came down the aisle I was in and told me I needed to ‘leave right now’. She was incredibly rude and even after I showed her the time, she continued telling me to ‘get out’.nnI’ve worked in hospitality myself and completely understand it can be frustrating when customers come in close to closing time. But there’s never a reason to speak to someone so disrespectfully. Amy’s attitude was completely unnecessary and honestly made my already hard day so much worse. Regardless of how she may feel about her job, a basic level of courtesy and professionalism should always be maintained.nnI’ve always loved this Woolworths but after this experience, I won’t be returning.
If the boom gate doesn't open, exiting the car park can pose a problem.nThe soft damper rolls are the best rolls on the market, and so cheap.
This is a nice community centre with a number of retailers as well as Woolworths. The store is like most other Woolworths supermarkets with friendly staff and a good range of products. Primarily services the Smith Street Collective apartments.
