Editting review, an extra star for staff and efforts over last few days managing best they can during TC Alfred preparation.nThanks. ....n...Have shopped at Richlands for over 8 years, the last few years the store has declined a lot. I have had increasingly negative experiences, and having previously worked retail, I am a reluctant complainant. Trolleys often uncollected/unavailable. No deli, only prepacked items with poor range and use by datesn. Fruit and vegetable often no stocks, poor quality. Little product options for smaller purchases. Often many lines of similar products but other options unavailable. Stock in aisles often moves to weird locations. Staff seems reluctant to be friendly or welcoming. Today is another day I was unable to purchase half the items on my small shopping list. Honestly I give up, will be shopping at Inala, Aldi and hopefully rumours of a Coles nearby are true!
I was really disappointed with their customer service today. I noticed an item's price was incorrect at the check out, so I informed the staff that I would double-check the price. I went to the selves, took a photo of the price and showed it to the staff member wearing big glasses. She said she still needed to ask the manager. What? If she can't make decisions, why is she working at the checkout?nnAnyway, she took some time to find another staff member and asked her for help. However, that person had to serve another customer first, so I was left waiting. Eventually, the staff member went to check the price, came back, and told the staff member with big glasses to adjust it. What? I thought Woolworths’ policy was to provide the item for free in cases of pricing errors. Woolworths at Annerley and Moorooka followed this policy before, and the pricing mistakes there involved items that were much more expensive than the one I had today.nnWhen I mentioned this, she didn’t say anything but displayed an attitude that clearly said “no.” In fact, she didn’t even apologise for the pricing mistake. It’s not about the money—it’s about the staff’s attitude. The price difference was small, but I still had to go back, take a photo, and wait for quite some time. She should have politely apologised for the pricing mistake and then explained that she couldn’t make it free.nnDear store manager, I think you need to train your staff in customer service. I think many people want to work at your store, so there’s no need to tolerate staff with such poor attitudes.
I popped in to my local Woolworths at Richlands to pick up something yummy, tasty and light for lunch. I'm not really into commercially made bread so I tried the 'Seeded Diamond Ciabatta Rolls' from the Woolworths Bakery section for a change. And oh, delicious in taste and texture - chewy on the outside & soft on the inside. I noted 91% Australian ingredients & no big list of added ingredients, just Lecithin from soy. It's my new favourite bread. A thumbs up from me.
The main anchor tenant at Richlands Plaza, a medium size store busy undergoing an upgrade at the moment. A tidy store with all the regular stock and produce that you would expect from Woolies. I did find that there were only a few self check-out tills as well as a few manned tills. When it's busy there's a bit of a back-up.
This is the 3rd time I've ordered milk from you guys through Ubereats and it's arrived a day away from expiry. I would appreciate if you ask staff who pack the orders to be more mindful of expiry dates
