Visited woolworths Preston South shopping center for first time. Although it is well presented and stocked, but you can hardly find any staff available to help if you need any. I don't know why the aisle layout of all woolworths can be same as all other woolworths. Because you go to new Woolworth, you struggle to find products. Possibly they could mention aisles on their online portal for all products, and in which aisle they are located in each store. That would be cool.
I couldn't decide whether or not to give 1 star or 5 stars because the triple chocolate chip biscuits are so good from here that I constantly get told off by my life coach for breaking my diet due to those biscuits. Five star biscuits, one star to my life coach who doesn't understand the temptation and inner conflict these decadent biscuits cause me.
I shop here because it's my closest supermarket with a wide range of products. Fresh meats very low on range...I end up going to the butcher at Psarakos..where you get staff who know meat. Deli at preston south ww is understaffed. Staff on registers are often surly and have no idea how to pack bags. The store has all their soft plastic recycling bags lying around in their truck delivery area with the bags frequently broken open and blowing around in the wind. Makes a lie of the woolworths TV adverts saying how committed they are to zero waste when the preston south store has such little regard for handling their soft plastic recycling in such a neglectful way. Such an ugly experience shopping here.

The so called homless begger sitting out front the one with the beard hastling people for cigarettes then getting abusive when his told no shouldn't be there cause he will get a flogging one day
This one star is not because of items at store. This is because I am digusted on how staff members were spoken to as I was overhearing it. I also have realised that staff members don't seem to be the same lately. I have been a long time customer for 10 years.
This is probably one of the worst Woolies stores I've been to. They're consistently out of stock of heaps of different items, moreso than any other Woolies store in the area so it's not just "supply chain issues" anymore - I rarely am able to get everything I need from there...and if you go in there at night, their night fill team tend to be loud/obnoxious dude-bro types that often talk and behave inappropriately to one another while customers are still in the store, and they're uncomfortable to be around. They also don't wait until they're closed to start re-pricing things, so if you go there at night there's no way of telling what's still on special or not because they've already taken all the stickers down while the store is still open for trading.
Never answer the phone. I arrive and try and call and the phone, it's turned down, no wonder why noone, answered. And then the rude manager was not even helpful. I ask her to call other stores around the area to see if they have what I need, so I don't waste my time driving around. And rather than trying other calls she continued to ask what other store's. You work at Woolworths I shouldnt have to tell you what stores around the area. Just call a store. How hard is it.
When you forget something here you will never get back. I should’ve asked for security cameras but my time is more precious
A good selection of vegan and vegatarian for Australia. Even though they are tucked to the back of the store.
