I don’t shop here personally but twice I have visited with a friend who has a disability. Both times the check out personnel have been beyond rude to my friend. One time they asked me if it’s ok for my friend to withdraw their own money out. Firstly, I’m not their mother and secondly, I don’t control my friend’s finances and neither do you. I completely ignored the question and her and just looked at my friend until she proceeded to do her job and withdraw the money out for my friend. The second time was today, my friend put their basket of items on top of the counter the lady proceeded to tell my friend, rudely, to remove the items from the basket. So many times I have put the basket on the counter not once have I been told to remove the items. Do better Woolworths and train your staff to treat people with disabilities with dignity, it’s not hard. I find this hard to believe this is just a coincidence that two different staff members would act this way towards the same person at one Woolworths North Melbourne. This seems more like a culture that has developed in that store.
Came in to pick up an order because our delivery driver was unable to complete it. Staff, particularly Alex, were so helpful and kind and made our day!! We were stressing out but they fixed everything for us and repacked stuff - it was really impressive! Just wanted to say thank you for helping us out with a stressful situation
Tuesday night I rushed to buy sanitary pads. I arrived 8mins before closing time. This guy on the photo closed the roller door. I asked him to open it cos it will only take me less than 2 mins to get and pay for what I need. And there were still people buying inside. It was like talking to a wall. He just looked at me. I guess he owns the store with that attitude. Change your closing time on Google if that’s the case!
This Woolworths is a little different compared to most other stores as it has an entrance in a building complex along with a few other shops as well. It's pretty much the same as most others inside. You need to take an escalator to reach the car park.
It's a Woolworths. Parking pretty easy. Undercover. Sometimes a bit hard to get out of deepening on the traffic. I prefer it to my local Coles, but not my local Aldi.
