Really good location with a big store and a great range of products. It’s much cleaner and more organised than before.nThere are plenty of self-checkouts, which saves a lot of time.nnThe staff are always friendly and helpful, especially Sophie. She really cares about the customers and her service always makes us feel well looked after. Her sweet smile and friendly attitude really made my day.nExcellent shopping experience here. Highly recommend!
It's spacious, well laid out, and has an excellent range of products—you can usually find everything you need in one trip. The secure underground car park with two hours of free parking makes shopping easy and stress-free. A big bonus is its location within Gasworks, with plenty of great cafés, restaurants, and eateries right next door, making it perfect for grabbing a coffee or a meal before or after shopping. Highly recommended!
You need to find a replacement for the girl who manages the cool room on Monday 13/7 around 2:30pm for doordash pickups. She purposely doesn’t come to the door and doordash penalises us as drivers when we have other orders in our car going cold because she doesn’t want to do her job. The order is packed and ready to go so why am I waiting ten+ minutes to get attention from staff. It’s so slack and happens repeatedly. Get rid of her or put her in a non customer facing section of the store.
Please make tissues or paper towels freely available at every checkout! Some of your items from the dairy section are routinely so filthy with splashes from whatever happened in the truck that it gets on everything as soon as the containers start “sweating” in the warm air. I should not get sticky hands from unpacking at home, and I should not have to wash my reusable bags after every shop.
Woolies Newstead is always well-organized, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. They offer a wide selection of fresh veggies, fruits, and meats, which are always top quality. It's a great place to shop for all your grocery needs.
