All Woolies are the same until they're not and this one has some small differences. The car park is achingly small. The self service check outs have a circle of them with an island of a few more in the middle. The aerosol b-o basher is locked away behind glass. Ehh now what. I was helped by two staff. I needed earplugs. Could I find them. No. Was I looking in the right spot before I asked for help? Yes. Could I see them. No. Did the lady know EXACTLY where they were sat? Yes. Did she make out like they're hard to see so that I didn't feel bad about not seeing them? Yes.
Not the best metro but definitely not bad either. This been my top choice for weekend shopping per fortnight for 2 years. Have almost all I need to survive, even during cyclone. Some of the goods are often running out quick like eggs, long life full cream lactose free milk, middle bacon and the staffs just struggle refilling the shelves.nSince it’s just a metro grocer so not all items you need will sell here. Some of them are no longer exist but somehow still available on the app
Went in here with my husband for a few groceries. It’s compact but has most of the basics you'd need. The layout makes sense, though a few items were out of stock. Customer service wasn’t anything special, but not rude either. One thing I noticed – the bakery section felt a bit empty. It's okay for a metro store, just don’t expect too much. Decent enough for what it is. Gets the job done
Used to be good before it turned into a 'Metro'. Now the range is limited and expensive and many cheaper home brand products are not stocked at all. I won't go there anymore unless it's just for milk. Why go to a supermarket where a number of things on your shopping list can't be found or there's limited choice and you have to then go to another supermarket. Just go to another supermarket. The 'Metro' branding of stores equals unsubstantiated price gauging: Woolworths pretending to need to charge mini-mart prices at hitherto normal supermarkets.
Nice little Woolies that’s clean and well stocked. A few parking spots out front. Not sure about the loose trolleys at the front, could’ve been better maintained. Otherwise I got everything I needed during my trip. It’s close to Cathedral Square which is a lovely little spot to sit down & chill.
