UPDATED REVIEW: my original review was about the lack of space in this small Woolworths supermarket. However, they are currently renovating and opened up a whole new section just for the check out which has opened up the whole shop. It’s actually really perfect. You can now walk around the shop with a trolley more freely. They have a takeaway kiosk at the front of the shop with fresh sandwiches, pies, cakes and coffee. They have a brand new bakery with really tasty bread, rolls, pastries, etc. There is also free parking underneath for two hours with a receipt.
Extremely RUDE & Nasty upstart Check Out chick, 12th Feb 2024 - 6.55 pm. I have been going there for years, I am always polite to all the staff, however this piece of work did not even acknowledge my hello and, I asked for a bag which she did not have so I had to go over to the next check out to get it... no problem, then she proceeded to throw my groceries on TOP of the bag, and would not even help me pack, until I asked, which was a massive effort for her, she could clearly see I had injuries, a broken left arm in a cast and my right is also compromised. If you DONT like your job give it to someone ELSE!!! - Cold, RUDE & Nasty, management need to step up here.
Since when is paying $3 for a small bunch of coriander a “special”. Come on Woolies, we’re not that stupid. Generally the prices are well over what other supermarkets charge.nHaving said that I find the staff there lovely.
Just bought some mince beef and it was rancid.nOverall, everytime i need something, this particular wollies usually doesnt have it. And if it is a staple product, they often haven't got around to restocking the shelves... a real Mickey Mouse outfit.
A smaller store in the beachside surburb of coogee beach. But it has the essential stuffs you need to get. Only come here if I need my grocery run and I was in Coogee beach area.
