Convenient location for the locals. While the building is out of date and surfers from leaking problems occasionally, still good range of offering just like any other Woollies. It’s easy to get to and not hard to find a parking spot.
Big fan of the modern day market. The effort, the complexity and the connected systems between food producer, delivery and shelving of a multitude of brilliant products is simply taken for granted. The complaints and whining about small life problems just gets me to bite my dog. Think about how challenging and how amazing that produce from all over Australia and from all over the world ends up as a humble product item in front of the obese eyes of people. The cost we pay for whatever products we purchase comes with an unwritten history of life. Our food and luxury products arrive here ready for us to consume. We are the most fortunate and comfortable society/civilisation that has ever walked the face of the earth. Yet, I am surrounded by the silly voices of consumers who think the entire food and product system has been designed purely for their lard-pea-brained existence. Frankly the prices we pay as we pile on the food and the unrequited goodies is so fair in comparison to the effort other people have put into getting your favourite potato chips and ice's cream into your ungrateful gobs is truly quite gobsmacking. Woolworths make their profit and you know what, good on them. I am tired of these lazy voices screaming about inflation. How about this why don't you buy the quality meats, poultry and seafood and stop buying food that increases the width if your mouths. The delivery and distribution of goods across an entire nation is so remarkable, utterly brilliant and truly it is a down to the gates of hell miracle. Every single day Woolworths delivers food and goods across the country and you as the consumer should be happy that our great capitalist system presents many grateful and the persistent ungrateful with food and goods. Tight and competitive parking, a busy AF store, two entrances, one off Balaclava Road, the second of Waring street. You can get petrol at the Caltex, again extremely busy most days and if you are one of those Mad Max scavengers you can deposit your cans and bottles at the recycling unit. Again, very busy and much tension between the scavenger tribes. Stay alertnas the world needs lerts. Staff friendly and professional and many long term employees that i hope Woolworths Marsfield recognises because shopping in the workplace of contented employees does promote a good and healthy business outlook. Been shopping here for over a decade. With the massive, and I mean huge construction and thousands of new families I think it is time for Woolworths at Marsfield to get their fingers off their profits and reinvest in building a bigger, brighter and more consumer friendly Woolworths.
I was on my phone trying to look up my shopping list and I can see that a manager is staring at me and making me feel like I am being monitored. I then see him laughing and standing around talking with another staff member instead of concentrating on click and collect orders. Very unprofessional especially for a manager of the store.
Tonight at 11:30 I went shopping in a hurry at Woolworths Marsfield. After paying, I forgot my bag. I scanned it with another machine and swiped my card as if it hadn't worked. The cashier was a very rude and impersonal guy, as if he had been robbed. I hated everything about Woolworths.
A highly convenient facility stocking a variety of goods. It is a convenient store located within the bounds of Marsfield, and has a petrol station, an advantage over the Macquarie branch. The area is decently well-serviced by buses and is directly in the middle of Marsfield! It offers plenty of parking, a Return and Earn, and reasonable prices. However, when it gets busy, there will be very few parking spaces available, and the Return and Earn will also either be incredibly crowded, often with people putting hundreds of bottles in at a time, or unusable, as the collection system is full. This is still a great cornerstone for Marsfield, and I highly recommend this facility.
