A very busy, popular store in a good location for city workers. The staff work hard at seeing that all shelves from the meat and veggies sections on the left to the back of the store on the right are well stocked, provided their distribution centre has supplied enough stock. I've always had good responses from the staff when I've needed help with anything. I'm a happy camper.
The supermarket is quite big and Gatorade bottles are on sale individually at half the original price. I appreciate they always come with special discounts and the staff have been helpful and passionate all the time. In addition, the number of self checkouts is greater than most of the other supermarkets.
I’m writing this to commend the lovely florist who was in attendance on the morning of 10th Nov, 2025. She intuited that I was gathering several bouquets of tired Gum leaves to create an arrangement. She took the time to ask if she could help me to gather several bouquets of the Gum leaves to curate one especially for me. She took the time to trim of the dead leaves and branches as well as tidied up any bare branches. The end result was a beautifully arranged & prepared bouquet of Gum leaves. I so appreciate the bespoke experience, the initiative and the careful thoughtfulness she offered. Such an unexpected gesture of care and kindness. Thank you so much
A great supermarket in the city! Excellent location and super convenient. I go here at least once a week for the past 10+ years nnThe store is big, clean, well stocked with a great layout, so I can easily find what I need.nnThe staff are always so friendly and helpful. I also appreciate their pick-up-at-the-store service in addition to delivery!nnI once left a paid bouquet of flowers at the self-check out counter, and forgot about it until I got home. I called and the staff kept it for me until I could come back to pick it up. Stress free.nnAlso, during the Covid-19 lockdowns and recent Cyclone Alfred, this Woolies stayed open, clean and they followed the SOP well. Thank you!
The demeanor of the staff working around the self service area make exiting Brisbane airport feel like a walk in the park by comparison. Clearly these people have had no training in working in the service industry in particular a middle aged caucasian male who perhaps gained his experience herding cattle.
