Bec and the team are such wonderful people. I was evacuated from Harcourt yesterday and found myself stranded in Kyneton. She delivered my groceries to me personally despite the store not having a delivery service. Not only that when she arrived I discovered they had already driven a very generous donation of food and water to the Castlemaine CFA - braving the fires to do so. Just awesome community spirit.
Terrible deli section. Staff don't put out produce...not sure if this is store policy? Often have no prawns or fish on display...have heard they have in cool room but too lazy to get out and thaw. Display of cut meats poor. No wonder Woolworths shares and sales sliding and Coles skyrocketing.. just compare WOODEND Coles deli and bakery to Kyneton Woolworths and you see why.nDeli staf start packing up seafood and meats at 4pm or earlier..manager should realise most people work until 5-6pm ...please don't pack up deli until after 6pm Observed many younger staff chatting and doing nothing...non workers should be shown the door.
If there's a carpark in hell, it was probably modelled on this one.nStaff are always fantastic in this store - super friendly and helpful.nFruit and veg are varying degrees of fresh.
A great supermarket.nOn holiday we tend to buy boxed sous vide cooked meat, then add the veggies, or full meals. This supermarket had plenty of choices, at a reasonable price.
Got kick in the groin by a small child dressed as spiderman, when i told the parents they threw several pots of yoghurt at me. Horrible experience and have now been going to therapy for this for six months. I will never look at yoghurt the same.
