I always have a great experience shopping at Woolworths! The store is clean, well-organized, and the shelves are consistently well-stocked with fresh produce, quality meats, and a wide variety of pantry essentials. “Purchased a chicken breast fillet from Woolworth Kogarah on 24th Sept 2025 Upon opening, I noticed a strong, unpleasant odor and checked the packaging, which showed the use-by date was 29-09-2025, however date still valid. This is my third time and I have facing that type of issue. They put the valid sticker on the items but items already damaged or not able to eat . Had to discard it for safety reasons. Disappointed as this poses a food safety risk. Please improve product quality checks. I would appreciate a refund or replacement.”
I've been a somewhat regular customer here, but after my recent experience, I won’t be coming back. This place desperately needs new management!!nnThe woman who served me didn’t even greet me, let alone offer to pack my items, despite the fact that I placed my bags clearly on the register. Where’s the basic customer service? A few years ago, this store had friendly and respectful staff. Now, most of the newer employees are rude and frankly unprofessional. The only ones who still show any manners or care are the older staff members. The new hires don’t even speak to you!!nnTo make matters worse, the last few times I’ve shopped here, there’s been a horrible odor coming from some of the staff. It was so bad, I had to hold my breath when one female employee walked past me in the aisle. This raises serious concerns about hygiene. Management needs to step in and make sure staff are meeting basic cleanliness standards!!!! This is unacceptable. And don’t even get me started on the fresh food section. It’s an absolute disgrace. I was looking to buy fruit for my kids and nearly every punnet of strawberries and blueberries had visible mould on it. How is this even allowed to be sold?nnSAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. This store has gone downhill fast. I’m officially done shopping here!!!!!!
I've never seen so much mold in a fresh food section. Literal packets of tomatoes, cucumbers and apples all sitting there with mold while staff are moving around adding new stock on top of the old. I've just moved to the area and have been in a couple of times and each time it's the same. Have decided to do my shopping over in the rockdale store as its only another couple of minutes and is clean and has a number of other speciality stores in the plaza that make it convenient. Centre management needs to heavily invest in renewing that town centre building and woolies need to re-train all the staff management included in that store.
17/10/24 8am. $6.50 for organic aspargus that looks like it’s been sitting there for weeks. Absolute disgrace. Also it reeks in here, smells absolutely foul. And there are always trolleys strewn through the store as staff are restocking the shelves. Good luck getting through the isles with a pram, a disgusting shambles. The staff are also rude, especially dude with the headband.
