17/10/24 8am. $6.50 for organic aspargus that looks like it’s been sitting there for weeks. Absolute disgrace. Also it reeks in here, smells absolutely foul. And there are always trolleys strewn through the store as staff are restocking the shelves. Good luck getting through the isles with a pram, a disgusting shambles. The staff are also rude, especially dude with the headband.
Yesterday I came into the store and bought a few things using the self checkout, I inserted notes in and they gave me a ripped 5 dollar note. When I tried to ask them for a new one, the helper with black hair started mumbling and all I could hear was “no proof”. Honestly, why would she think I’m trying to scam her it’s not even my money in the first place before the machine gave me a ripped note. This is unacceptable.
As I began my usual weekend shopping spree at the lovely kograh Woolies, ticking off all the ingredients I needed to bake my special carrot cake super yummy. I could not find this one ingredient secret ingredient. I saw a hard working young man, his name tag said Geordie and he was a short young man with a goatee. He was working very hard and I approached him to find my secret ingredientshhhhh. Geordie then proceeded to guide me to wear the ingredient was and was extremely helpful. His kind actions and delicate actions really gave me faith for the younger generation. That young man is the reason why I can bake my carrot cake, without his help I had no chance!! I’m really thankful to Woolies for giving these young men a chance to work and prove themselves to the world. You rock kograh Woolies, woo hoo. PS. Will be coming back soon for some ingredients so I can make my delicious fish bone salad.
It's gone downhill a bit. Staff always seem stressed, restocking is almost always left in islesnBut most bothersome is that they have all the self service checkouts open green light on but they won't let you use them. Must just like having a line of people waiting to pay.
I've never been to a shopping centre where you had to pay for parking even for an hour. Street parking was scarce around the Town Centre where Woolies was.
