Ordered weekly groceries online to be delivered Tuesday between 1 and 5pm. Received a confirmation email, money was taken from my account. On Tuesday at 6pm nothing had arrived so I tracked the order and it stated 'delivered' on my account. I checked everywhere outside and with neighbors and the groceries were missing. Called Coles and waited over 30 minutes before they told me I mustn't have pressed confirm on the order because it was never processed! This is despite a confirmation email, money being taken, and my online account showing the order had apparently delivered. They realised something was wrong but couldn't help and promised a manager would call asap the next day. I waited all the next day until 3pm - no call, still no groceries. I called back and again waited over 30 minutes only to be told my groceries couldn't be delivered, there had been a mistake and that's it. No apology, no resolution, no mention of the fact that money had been taken. I asked to speak to a manager to try and resolve this issue and was promised they would call back within 30 minutes. 3 hours later - no phone call. I rang back and was on the phone for another 20 minutes before being told that the manager on duty couldn't help and someone would call back tomorrow. Not holding my breath! I've now wasted so much time trying to sort this out - I still have no groceries, no apology and no solution! Toast for dinner again, and I'll have to cancel plans and cart the toddler to the shops in the morning as who know if or when our groceries will actually arrive. Astonished that such an established company can have such incredibly poor service.
Very exciting news. Aspley store has been selected to be one of a few automated eStores being rolled out in QLD. Covid 19 and online orders have necessitated this new innovation. The walk-in store will become slighter smaller to accommodate the automated section at the rear. So expect some layout changes.
I'm a local and have been coming to this Woolworths for 3+ years. I'm constantly having my belongings or shopping checked by the same few staff. And I'm the only one it happens to out of everyone else checking out. I'm constantly profiled for being alternative/covered in piercings and tattoos. It's demeaning and humiliating. If you're going to check one person, check everyone. It's disgusting. Do better.
Always seems to be well stocked, friendly staff, clean. The only criticism is that I hate self checkout and was forced to use it one evening. It's a sign of poor staffing/rostering, ill management, and lack of care.
A great Woolworths with a decent selection. Have plenty of international foods, especially Asian, at reasonable prices. A semi good organic fruit and veggie section. Just don't expect staff to be helpful.
Really good, big store, has most everything you need. My only beef is the floor... I don't know what it is, but every time I go, I get the worst electric shocks from the trolley& shelves! I've changed shoes to try& combat it, but no joy! Apologies to any shoppers near me when I've been zapped, as the crack was audible, as was my loud expletive. It hurt like you would not believe. And it kept going on as I went around.. I was wary of touching anything metal & must have looked hilarious. I was honestly touching things & shopping like I expected stuff to jump out at me. Still, good store & helpful staff. Entrance is to the right of main entrance & has disability access from carpark to main entrance & store. Store has pickup/deliver to boot, but online will confirm.
Convenient store, well stocked . Caution closed on public holidays, can't complain though
Just went to deli wanted some ham. Girl could not cut more because she was busy and had to clean up. Waited and she started working on toast chicken. Very poor service sorry woolies going to Coles
I interrupted a worker stacking products to ask where the gluten free section was… she went out of her way to show me all the options woolworths had. She also showed me an App to help with gluten free products. If you could thank her for me would be appreciated.. i was there around lunchtime in the 23/12/22 , brunette with glasses.. thanks Tim
Shopped there Sunday arvo, waited patiently at the Deli for the 2 ladies serving to finish their conversation until they were prompted by another staff member that I was waiting to be served, get to the checkout no hello not a word until he had scanned all my items, the only words out of his worth was $245.93. My Wife arrived as I was finalizing my transaction, she asks him are you not well, you’re quite flushed he answers , I had no sleep last night, I’m very tired. WHY ARE YOU AT WORK THEN? Giving very ordinary customer service. Not impressed young man. Paul Bowen Local
