Useless store, despite being open until 10pm. Most food shelves are empty by 9pm & staff is busy with taking away fruit items by 9.30pm. Better close the store by 9pm without keeping it open until 10pm just for the time sake.
This is one of the worst Woolworths I've ever seen. Stock supplies continue to run low and the variety of produce is some of the worst in Brisbane. I'm not sure if the area has too many people, so it's constantly running out or poor stock management? I actually don't know how this is rated 4.4 stars.
Really lousy service today. After I paid the lady left the desk to be on her phone. I understand people live busy lives, and sometimes work happens on phones, but I was calling her over saying I needed help with something. She also could have assisted packing my bags. I didn't come through check out to pack my own bags, I came for a service. This woolworths does have really nice staff but this is something that needs to be worked on.
Situated close to busy city living, offers a great range daily needs items at good prices. Their fresh lunch section competes with other local food venues very well; hot selection, sandwiches, fresh suichi bar, fruits and cheeses etc. Always find staff to be helpful and friendly. Paid close parking for woollies shopping, as well as for the other shops in the centre.
Great bargain for a lot of products. Aisle are well placed. Spacious and many items to choose from. Good variety of products. 2hrs free parking per day.
First time I had most unpleasant experience at this Woolies check out. I tried to pay cash and both self check out machines appeared to be card only. These check out were cash before and I have not been prompted by the machine that it is card only. Seeking help from the assistant I got blamed that I am not reading what is on the bottom of self check to machine screen where the indication is “ cash withdrawal option”. She did not believe me when I said that I was not prompted by the machine it is card only, saying “it is impossible, it is in program”. She was super unhappy she had to cancel my initiated transactions. It wasn’t even rush hour to excuse the rudeness and her frustration. Maybe Woolies should clearly label witch check outs card only so even from distance? in the queue customers know where they should go and not check the bottom of the screen for “withdrawal of cash” indication.
Worst Woolworths store in Qld. Appalling service, supermarket is always running low on various ingredients and food. The people that pack shelves are useless and stand in your way leaving huge trolleys everywhere so you cannot access shelves. Staff have no product knowledge, are rude and unhelpful - A big shout out to the store manager get your act together as Im writing a rather in-depth complaint to HQ - DEPLORABLE on every level
A good sized branch in Gasworks Plaza, Newstead. A fairly new store with a slightly different layout to most other Woolies. Has large dairy and freezer sections with a wide variety of products to choose from. Plenty of parking available underground. Overall I've only had good experiences from the friendly, helpful staff.
Good selection of lunch and snack foods. It was tricky to find a single juice to buy though, cold drinks are in all sorts of different locations
