Inside the store is amazing. The staff are friendly, spacious aisles, well stocked.nBut as to being a member of the local community they fail.nNot enough bins outside for all the trash, graffiti, my wife doesn't feel safe walking here sometimes by herself, not enough signs about the trolley locks so it doesn't stop trolleys from appearing all throughout the neighbourhood.nWould be amazing if apart from profits Woolies took some pride in being a part of the Highgate community.nHaving said that, is super convenient and I'm there almost every day.
Today 21 July 2026, I purchased a packet of chips from this Woolworths store and later discovered that the product had expired on 27 June 2026—almost a month before it was sold. This is unacceptable, as expired food products should never be available for customers to purchase.nnI returned to the store today and received a refund, which I appreciate. However, I was disappointed that no apology beyond the refund or any goodwill compensation was offered for the inconvenience and poor experience.nnI hope the store improves its stock rotation and expiry date checks to ensure this does not happen again. Food safety should always be a priority, and customers should be able to shop with confidence.
First time here. Best thing by far was the carpark and the fact that it’s free which is rare in the city. The shop is clean. Mea and my client filmed a few reels in here for his online coaching business and the staff were very welcoming and friendly to us.
Our favorite Woolworths to shop at! It’s close to home, has easy parking, and there’s a clean and comfortable restroom on the third floor. Shopping here is always exciting because there are often discounted items on the shelves towards the back—feels like finding a jackpot with great products at low prices!
really good outlet here. it's kinda hidden away from the main road, tucked in a corner. inside, it is pretty spacious. plenty of wiggle room between aisle and shelves. and the organisation, while similar to most, looks really well thought out. they seem to stock really well too - but not for every time that is on our usual list. and their bakery section is pretty good even though at a glance, it seems like a pretty small section. and the staff have most been pretty helpful and friendly when you need help from them. it is also not always crowded - at least for all the times we have been there.
